I hope those cold blooded goats were good eating for the ancient humans who chowed down on them. Wonder if they tasted like chicken? Kinda surprised they were not domesticated...seems their low intake metabolism could have had some perks for lazy goat farmers...
They do seem like perfect candidates for domestication, I'd say there just wasn't any future planning by our ancestors and so they shared the same fate as the Dodo. Ya being cold blooded they may have tasted very unique but unfortunately we will never know
