Bro these animations aren't the best I've ever seen but I do sorta love them and the nostalgia and the piccolo and gohan revive animation 🥲 plus they are good I'm looking forward to all the fun new teams I can build with them
They hit this one on the head the animation is legitimately taken straight from the anime it’s actually mind blowing how well these revives animations and OSTs are.
0:50-1:52, or basically everything post-Piccolo’s Revive Sacrifice, is utterly gorgeous. The OST, the immaculate impact coloring of the blocked attack, Piccolo’s tears, and Gohan’s boiling rage similar to Path to Power Kid Goku’s scream shoves me into the feels! The Super Attacks also look alright but I’m sure they’ll look even better in 2x speed! I also dearly loved the Nappa & Vegeta Side-Banner unit’s animations, and I’m so glad we saw Vegeta’s scene from the anime of his two-fingered planet-busting shot. However, the absolute highlight was that long-ass 45 second revive animation, and I actually think this Gohan and Piccolo’s Revival Animation is the best in the game so far! Truth, I think this will be the first DFE Celebration (excluding major ones) that will truly live up to the hype and expectations in 2023!
I’m summoning when they come to global. No matter how good or bad they are. My favorite saga and my favorite character (piccolo) and my favorite moment in dbz
Gohan tearing up after piccolo’s revive for pretty much the whole animation is such a smal detail that makes the animation 10X better. Easily the best revive in the game, incredible ost and overall just amazing unit. Now let’s just hope that gohan will not follow his uncle physical raditz.
This moment definetly deserves a dokkan fest. My only this is why doesn't piccolo say anything till after he saves gohan? I totally sought he would day something while he was running up
damn and I though tiens and bardocks OST was depressing piccolo's death is one of the few if not only death's in dragon ball were even though I know he comes back to life still hits me with goku's death against cell being right up there
That chain battle should have gave it away that their could be a Dokkan fest vegeta and nappa or just a vegeta or nappa. I was also expecting a DF krillin and piccolo because they do most of the fighting against nappa and have a unit super attack with a gohan ally
