The ending to this video aged terribly. John Dorsey is now out as GM. Typical Browns. That's why I said "but we'll still have to wait and see if this really is the turning point of the franchise." Also, here are a few notes: 1) Yes, the montage at 47:27 is just like the one in the Fab Five 30 for 30. That was intentional. 2) Yes, my pacing is pretty slow, and it sounds very robotic at times. The reason I did that is because I was letting the video play out before I moved on to the next sentence. I'm basically letting the video do the talking. But I realize that isn't the best strategy, so I will quicken the pace in future videos. 3) I'm not saying Romeo Crennel and Phil Savage were the saviors, I'm just saying they should've been given another year. 4) I realize I didn't talk about Josh Cribbs enough. I was already halfway through making the video when I realized I hardly mentioned him. I was just too lazy to go back and include him.
They did get another year, it was bad, lol. Uncharacteristic drop by Braylon Edwards? That guy had the worst hands I've ever saw in a Browns uniform. He was a helluva talent and could've really been somebody. Good video man, thanks for uploading.
I loved this video... My grandmother had dementia but would snap out of it and we would sit and watch the Browns games together. The 2007 season for the Browns was a magical season, atleast to me with her passing literally right after the superbowl. Almost like she was waiting to see if the Browns would win the superbowl or something lol. I rarely leave comments but figured I would to a fellow Browns fan. Keep up the hard work man, some of us really enjoy your videos.

Ah coming back to this video always gives me a warm feeling. I was 6 during this season and it was my first full NFL season as an attentive viewer. All I'd known was that our Browns weren't too hot and not much else about how the league really works, so that 07 season had me completely sold on a playoff run. First grade me (who had yet to be humbled or learn self-deprecating humor) was bragging to anyone within earshot about how good the Browns were going to be... then 2008-17 happened LMAO. I have this this sick twisted sense of pride I get by supporting our ol' factory of sadness, but I wouldn't have it any other way. To love something so unconditionally and not giving up on them, that's real heart-stricken loyalty, and it shows the best qualities of our character as people.
Literally their best season until 2020. I'm not a Browns fan, but I rooted for them in that playoff game against the stillers!!! 😂😂😂 Watching the Leader of Men and his 52 kids collapse and meltdown was absolutely glorious 😂😂😂😂

Ramen Robbie yeah, I’ve watched this video at least 5 times by now. I don’t know how, but this year was so powerful that I feel like I remember it, even though I was only days old When this magical year happened.
One of the things about that season ill always remember was Braylon Edwards balling out every game (except week 1 when Charlie frye was qb). His 2007 highlight reel should have a video of it's own. Every game from week 2 forward he made at least one incredible catch. 80 catches 16 tds, one td for every 5 catches? Just amazing
I'm a die hard Packers fan, but I would be lying to you if I said I didn't love Joe Thomas being a lifer in Cleveland, and that Baker Mayfield is quickly becoming my favorite player in the league! It's okay to have another favorite team, as long as they're in a different conference, right?
This guy is such a quintessential Cleveland Sports fan. It's funny. Making a mini documentary about a team that won 10 games. So Cleveland. - but also kind of cool.
I became a Browns fan during this season. I was a freshman in high school and fell in love with the uniforms and started to follow the team. Mind you, I am from Houston and have no ties to Cleveland. Dawg Pound.
This is an awesome video. I remember this team and I credited DA as the greatest Browns QB of all time because of how special it felt back then. Baker has since taken me back to that feeling. Go Browns!!!
Was at every home game this season. I remember perfectly after we actually beat the bengals my grandfather turned to me and screamed "HOLY HELL WE JUST MIGHT BE BACK!" Looking forward to making more of those incredible memories this season!
Hey Ramen Robbie... nice work! I really enjoyed your documentary. It stirred emotions in me that had been buried for a long time. I became a Browns fan in the 70s... when their super star was a young quarterback named Brian Sipe. I watched their successes and failures when Ozzy was young and fresh. I watched Greg Pruitt run across the field as though his feet never touched the turf. I witnessed Ernest Byner and Kevin Mack rush for over 1,000 yards each during the same season. I marveled at the ridiculous catches Webster Slaughter and Reggie Langhorn hauled in. Then I was crushed at the consecutive AFC Championship losses to Denver because of their own mistakes.... it is gut-wrenching to be a Browns fan. 2007 looked hopeful...alas...But I must be a glutton for misery, because dammit.... I love my Browns! Wanna hear the funniest part...??? I've never even been to Cleveland. I live in Texas and fell in love with the Browns when I was a kid in the 70s. They are like family... they will excite you... they will thrill you... they will piss you off... and they will disappoint you. Maybe that's why I love them so much... but yeah... you have missed out on some amazing times. But hey... these are the Browns we are talking about... they'll do it all again!

Great job. One thing I look for on documentaries is facts. You lined it up and flawlessly told the story. As a Ravens fan I thought the Browns were on their way. The firings of Savage and Cromell were panic personified. When you do that you know you might as well pencil in a losing season as the new staff finds its way. Had they stayed pat maybe they come back, we'll never know. However, today I would say watch out....unless ownership gets in the way. You look like a team that will have to be dealt with for quite some time to come.
