I've kinda wanted to write a story and use what's already canon to expand on the universe cause it's so awesome and could have such interesting stories. It'd turn into a series most likely though
Route 66 was a road that was built in the early 1920s but was shut down in the early 1980's. If only the road lived long enough for this song even if it's just a remix.
I traveled that road, not all of it, but some. The best part is from Kingman AZ to the Colorado River through the old mining town of Oatman, AZ. It is like the real Old West. Most buildings are wood. Donkeys running in the street. Temperatures in the summer up to 115F. I love that place. I also did some more sections in AZ and CA. The terminus is in Santa Monica, CA. It starts in Chitown.
You can still drive some of historic Route 66, and you'll know when you're on the right track because smaller towns love to boast about that kind of stuff.
I know Sim stepped back from content creation, but if they see this, I hope they know that this song is probably my greatest source of joy in their discography, and I'm happy I got to experience the music they made

Maybe she's more "sophisticated" and doesn't think Mindy should have a dirty, laborious job. I guess we'll find out for sure when we get a song about Cindy.

I LOAF jazz, i have heard my dad listen to normal old swing so i said hey why not? I looked up swing and found a LOT of electro swing and got pissed off cuz i wanted ordinary swing. I clicked on this one and now i think the replay button is broken
Image it as a desert with a long highway going straight down the middle. and on this deserted route as you go down the road you see a work shop along the side of the road, with old rusted motorcycles against the side of the building, puddles of oil and pieces of scrap metal strewn about, it appears to be an old gas station turned workshop/scrapyard. The scrapyard behind the place has old cars stacked on top of each other and old bicycles, as well as a crane. when you enter the shop you see ceiling fans slowly turning and Mindy at the counter blowing a bubble with bubblegum and she has oil on her hands. She also has one arm on the counter and a hand on her hip and says "well, well, well a customer. Whadda ya wan't stranger" in a kind off southern accent.

The 66 was never shut down, its still a road you can drive, it just doesn't have any tolls and large parts of it have been merged with the interstate.
