they don't get any choices. They have to debut this year with and are promoted by all 3. They don't get a choice of being a trainee. After this year or so of promoting. (could be just one debut performance not a year or so but...). After that the become free agents and can sign together or individually with whoever will take them.

No doubt that these boys have enormous potential; but since day one there has been a very clear difference in ability between them and the much older contestants. I guess it's just the novelty of them being young, and being amazingly talented relative to their age and training years that made them popular with the judges & audience - and that's what makes them quite entertaining to watch! Not hating, I was actually hoping for Boyfriend to win. I just dislike people throwing shade at KWINS when those girls (and a handful of other contestants) clearly have more skill than the duo. It's just that people use a much different standard in judging them, and make excuses for their (sometimes) mistakes because of their age and latent talent. But anyway, can't wait to see them all in a bigger stage in the future!
