@@tonydebling i would have if i had the time, but i felt that it would be better to watch the mechanics video as my exam is coming up in around an hour from now
Small error at 16:21 (Probability Ex.2) - Supplier B supplies 30% so P(B) should be 0.3 not 0.03. The inequality still works. Another way to answer Q 2(b) might be "The suppliers differ in their fault-rates, therefore as soon as supplier B is selected, that has an impact on the probability of a faulty component". This reasoning is then borne out by the calculation... but putting it this way round emphasises what is going on rather than merely applying a formula.
Would definitely advise you to get a ClassWiz calculator. For many binomial distributions you could use the tables in the formula booklet. However these only cover certain values for n the number of trials and certain values for p (probability of success). In this case n = 60 and the tables don't help. You can also work out P(s = k) using 60Ck (0.35)^k(0.65)^(60-k) for any k. So with an "ordinary" calculator you could in theory work out P(s=0)+P9s=1)+P(s=2)+...+P(s=30), but you'd be kept busy for a long time!!!
There's a big overlap. However topics like Poisson distribution in stats and collisions in Mechanics aren't covered. For mechanics also see th-cam.com/video/vZKiK7lg4YY/w-d-xo.html
thank you. Mr.Tony I was wondering though if there could be videos that narrow down the topics of statistics for example linear interpolation and standard deviation. That would really help.
I have made various improvements to the audio on my later videos. I bought an expensive Rode microphone but this had too much room echo, now I have bought a high end PC and the built-in microphone seems to do a good job. Listen to one of the mechanics revision questions and let me know what you think?
my exam is in 30mins
same here
I'm more than 30 weeks late but how'd it go
@@kjy05 not too bad got an B in a level maths
😭😭😭
😂😂
You've done more than my maths teacher has done all year! Much clearer, shorter and explained better!
its 00:30 and my exam is at 8:30 big love for this guy
Exact same situation wtf
@@BHunna Same here as well wth
@@kritveerjaggi7232 this video secured me a 60% on stats with no knowledge the day before
@@BHunna got my year 12 as paper tomorrow morning for predicted grades 😬. Wish me luck
@@kritveerjaggi7232 did u do the paper from pearson edexcel?
This is great, 1 year worth of knowledge, in 30 min.
Very helpful!
What a beautifully brilliant and clear video, I needed a brief overview of this topic as a first year UG student, Thank you
Very kind
I got an A in AS because of this video, Thank you!!!!!!!
Cool!
Did you use just this video? Please my exam is in 2 days and I'm freaking out 😭
7:40 probably rounding error but u shld leave ur numbers in the calculator so isn’t the median estimated as 26.71 using linear interpolation?
it is 26 .71
this man cooked so hard saving my mocks
Been waiting for you to remaster it thanks a lot
At 5:30 , 4b, the Variance is actually 10.06 to 2dp (the Standard deviation is still correct, I'm just saying)
pro tip: if you watch at 2x speed it's in only 15 minutes, work smarter not harder people
my exam is in two hours :D you’re saving my grade right now
i bet you failed if this overview is saving your grade
how did it go?
What a beast
thank you, best stats revision video ive ever watched
Thank you, did you check out the Large Data Set video?

Thanks got my as exam today :(, good to catch up since I didn't know anything in lockdown

This was really helpful thank you so much !!
theres an error at the 24:23 , should be 0.05995 (5dp)
Well spotted Saad! It gets fixed very soon after in the video, I didn’t manage to edit out the error. Sorry about that.
Big up Tony Debling saving my ass rn
I hate statistics and have been skipping classes.. but this helps a lot
Error in 7:56 should be 26.71
Indeed it is! Must practise using my calculator!
At 6:00 shouldn't the median position be 1/2(120+1) so its the 60.5th place?
at 28:05 why didn’t you just work it out as y>/16, why do 1-y
for 20:21 how do u find the value of p(s

The video really helps! But I did have to listen to it on 1.5x lol
i got my a level mock exam in 1 month and part of our paper is one statistic which is pain.coz I don't remember anything
At 20:00 shouldn’t it be 1-P(s greater or equal to 29) ??
Smaller than***
No. X is DISCRETE so for S to be greater than 30 it must be 31 or more.
So helpful, thanks
Hi, thanks for the vid.
Where did you download your Cassio Classwiz emulator?

It used to be on Casio website
