I have never seen Walter get emotional before on this channel. Out of everywhere he’s ever been I think it’s safe to say this place really touched his heart the most and is his favourite. Perhaps I should keep on the watch for a way to visit Brazil soon. Thank You for your honest expressions.
You can come. Especially if you know a few trustworthy locals, they'll tell where you can go or not, or what to do or not. If you go to place where you don't know anyone, get as much information as you can at the hotel, asking if the area you're going is safe and if the time of the day is appropriate. Avoid carrying or showing off personal belongings, like watches etc.. when waking in the streets of a big city, for example. If you can, take a spare phone or older phone and keep it in your pocket and if you want to use it, get into a shop. I usually take that kind of precaution, I lived here all my life and I was never robbed in my life, in Brazil or anywhere, only in Amsterdam, once 😀, when I had my wallet stolen. :)
DON’T apologize for being emotional at this tender time. You are being authentic! Authenticity is lacking so much lately from other channels, that seeing that is a breath of fresh air!🎉 Great video as always!
Hey Mark, I just had to write something on this video because you are speaking out loud what I think about Brazil and what I tell my friends. I am from Germany, and I went to Brasil in 2016 for the first time with big fear to go, cause of what my friends and media put in my head. I am so happy I went and didn't care what others say, so I could get my own opinion about🇧🇷. Since 2016, I went back and forth about 10 times, explored so many places that I also found in your vlogs( Muito muito Obrigado for that). This year I got my CPF ID and my journey to this amazing country will continue. You were also such an inspiration for me, and like you said, it's the people, the nature and the food that always brings me back there. I am really sorry for your loss, I feel your pain losing someone like that. Até logo!!! Marcus de Hamburgo
Walter, Brazilian here. Watched tons of your videos when planning my trips to Europe. Had no idea you had such connections with Brazil! You're always welcome!!

BEAUTIFUL ending for the video mate..god bless you and her. Been living here for quite some time and all you said is true. It is a wonderful country, but its getting a little too hot for my taste in the last few years! Lots of hugs, wish you all the best!
I believe that the security issues in Brazil, especially in large and tourist-oriented cities, are not necessarily much worse or more serious than those you encounter in other so-called "developed" countries. For example, you’re at greater risk of losing your wallet or phone on the Paris metro or on the streets of Rome than in São Paulo or Rio. The problem lies in the exaggerated emphasis given to bad news, as if this were the worst place in the world. This creates an overwhelming sense of insecurity that doesn’t reflect reality.
Meus sentimentos, Mark. Belíssimo vídeo, como sempre. As a brazilian who lived in Philly many years ago, I know Brazil is not exactly a top destination for north americans. You do a great job describring this country with all your passion. Keep up the good work and all the best to you (and both your american and brazilian families).

The charm of Ouro Preto and Tiradentes is a testament to good taste in tourism.
Me emocionei com seu depoimento. Sinto muito por sua perda. Um abraço carinhoso. Obrigada 💚💛
Knowing the language can be quite helpful when your going to any country. It is mostly respectful and it is something else too, but yeah, it goes along way.
I’m so sorry for your loss Mark. I live in Amadora Portugal and I have met many Brazilian friends. They’re beautiful people and so much nicer than the Portuguese people.
Sorry for your loss, Mark

BEAUTIFUL ending for the video mate..god bless you and her. Been living here for quite some time and all you said is true. It is a wonderful country, but its getting a little too hot for my taste in the last few years! Lots of hugs, wish you all the best!
Thank you. And yeah, the heat has been insane the last few summers
sorry for your loss Mark
I believe that the security issues in Brazil, especially in large and tourist-oriented cities, are not necessarily much worse or more serious than those you encounter in other so-called "developed" countries. For example, you’re at greater risk of losing your wallet or phone on the Paris metro or on the streets of Rome than in São Paulo or Rio. The problem lies in the exaggerated emphasis given to bad news, as if this were the worst place in the world. This creates an overwhelming sense of insecurity that doesn’t reflect reality.
I'm so sorry for your loss Mark 😥😥😭😭💔💔
Ah, que linda esta sua emoção!
Thank you for sharing ...I also have a host mother and host family in the USA - and keep saying thar the best place is New England. Beautiful video
Meus sentimentos, Mark.
Belíssimo vídeo, como sempre.
As a brazilian who lived in Philly many years ago, I know Brazil is not exactly a top destination for north americans. You do a great job describring this country with all your passion. Keep up the good work and all the best to you (and both your american and brazilian families).
p.s.: so nice to see your son wearing a São Paulo FC jersey, btw! :)
