I am impressed with the accessories that are available for the Weber kettle, I plan on adding this one.
You can also get the system to hang ribs in the big smoker. Very nice TY for the Vid.
Great piece of kit and a great review! Good stuff by pro smoke, have used them myself quite a lot over the years, always great service and love that they are bringing some fab USA bbq stuff to uk market . That’s a great option for someone who has a kettle but doesn’t want to take the leap to a full blown wsm 👍🔥
Good looking green kettle
. Thanks for the video.
Thank you, Gavin. I ran across your video and was impressed that you were using and modifying Weber kettle grills. As a Weber fan, I have modified many of my kettles to perform better or easier for my personal 16:24 use. In your video, you have proven that "smoking meat" to a delicious level is universal. I was curious about that particular cut of meat. Basically, it doesn't matter what country or continent the smoker is one. Bless you.
How would you stoke the fire or add charcoal if you need to?
Great video. Where did you buy the half grill grates?
I got a set on Amazon, easy to find. Nice to have. Hope this helps.
Who makes this extension?
Hello I have cajun bandit but the temp gets to high for a slow burn even with top and bottom vents almost closed. If you don't mind what temp where you running at . By the way good video
Hi - The BBQ temp was at about 250°F because I used a small minion method. It will be a bit hotter than say a weber Smokey Mountain basically due to it being a kettle that does run hotter and there are air leaks between all the parts too. You can use the snake method as welll to get a lower temp.
@@GavinConwayWoodworkBBQ thank you for getting back to me . I have used the snake method works well just want a little hotter because of the heat plate. Have a great rest of your week.
Make a bigger snake or use a smaller minion
Great video. Where did you get the two half grill grates?
can you buy this still? im not able to find it
Mmmmm - looks like it's no longer available - cant find any in UK online.
Fantastic review my friend!!
Maybe good but expensive @ $230.00. Maybe better to get Weber Smoky Mountain 18 Inc @$330.00.
Yeah the WSM 188" is good but is really aonly a smoker as such - the kettle with this addition is great. Expensive yeah a bit .
@@GavinConwayWoodworkBBQ Thanks, could unit smoke about the same as the Weber Smokey Mountain for backyard BBQing? Better not to over do it with the BBQers.
Pls note that Smokey Mountain is crazy expensive in europe, it’s like 2x vs the american prices. A mix of weak euro vs dollar, and taxes that vary by country. This leave lot of market space for this type of adapters
Nice! Have you tried smoking 2 briskets at the same time? Just wondering how well that would work.
I need that for my weber kettle, would be great for getting more space between food and charcoal for a direct cook also
I would be interested to use this on my 47cm Weber, not on my 57. Is that an option, di they make a smaller size?
You can buy the Weber rotisserie kit and it works the same if you make 3 little clips for the grill to sit on
I’ve done it and it works a treat
Looks pretty cool, but reloading coals could be a bit of a pain?
How many people are you cooking for?
How does one add charcoal if meat is not at proper temp?
The plate looks thin does it warp?
Looks like a lot of leakage from the ring.
