Don't understand why someone ho don't understand diagnostic toll actually doing reviews....don't know anything about that tool and what is the capability of it....that launch is one of the best scanner on the market
If the car doesn't support it, no scanner can help you. I got the launch 431 pad 7 elite. And it's a beast, but as I said, the car needs to support the functions to work.
Hi, do you still have your Launch Pad 7? How is it till now? In the video you've posted, you wasn't impressed with it. I'm just wonder if updates improved it? There is no proper video reviews about it, but there is good few positive feedback on internet about this tool, so I'm bit confused. The other people who bought it, say it's a great scanner for the money, with so many functions which all works perfect, incl. online coding and programing(BMW, Merc)??? Can you please replay.
Hi. Did you actually purchase this from Launch UK? I am wondering if the fact you only have some Korean versions of say Kia etc might mean it's actually a version primarily aimed at the far eastern market. It might also explain the weird menu listing where the make is not mentioned..? How is it now?. I am thinking of buying this model which is how I came to find your video. 🙂
Apparently there is a way to bypass and be able to j2534 a bunch more vehicles. It’s only on the pad7 and I’m not sure outside of USA but launch (not launch USA)? Launch global can give IP information and you have too write the code into the system. This is what launch just told me on the phone. Now launch USA won’t give me the information only launch global. And they both tell me not to deal with the other!!! Wtf. I’m seriously pulling my hair out just to pick a unit. At this point I’m gonna buy the new launch pro3 ace and a used snap-on and then get separate j2534 boxes used as I need them, it’s crazy. There is not a real one and done scanner on the market.
At the moment i have mk908 PRO, i searching some advice for PAD 7 Elite because they have online programming for more brands, Autel have only BMW and MB brands. Also have Heavy duty Vehicle, Autel have it but in different diagnostic tool (CV Version), same thing for Keys need to buy separete tool IM608, launch incorporate. I need to stay away from Launch and take TEXA (very expensive and don't have online programming)?
It's overrated, doesn't do as much as they claim. No repair information. Won't program BMW key and other programming and service functions. Just loaded with junk information. It's a case of bait and switch
Well if you bought this tool off the tool truck you would still have to pay for 12 months for the software and it's $1,200 to $1,500 for most software now do you see why mechanics charge the way they do
It’s a pity you didn’t try it on a car, we need more people like you demonstrating tools like that because they are so expensive, you have to be careful when buying diagnostic tools because they are a lot of places selling non genuine products and saying they are 100% genuine autel or launch, when you see the contact number +86 it is not genuine, good luck with your new tool and keep posting thanks
With recent update,is awesome
I just bought this im not happy . Hie do u find yours
@ what's wrong with it

I agree I sent mine back on the second to last day for the same reason, 3/4 of the functions I tried werent supported.
Unfortunately I was too slow to catch on to their CON and now stuck with a quite expensive pile of DO-DO!

@@wojtekkaminski8541 of course it does, it actually supports worldwide, all you have to do is buy the right model.

Launch have jumped on the same bandwagon with their own take on Autel im608/508. The Pad7 is sadly lacking in features available in cheaper units.
