To me, your CTB35 is the most well-designed backpack in existence right now. 3 different quick-access pockets, side-loaded laptop compartment for easy access, and 2 excellent water bottle pockets... if you guys made that into a 20 or 22 liter bag (while losing the hip belt), I’d buy it instantly! Make it happen, Fellas!!!
@AdityaValvi I’m a man of my word... just purchased it with $300 I don’t have (good ole credit cards)... Wished it was 22 to 24 liters, but beggers can’t be choosers, I suppose.
@@kaochao2356 I bought it too. Grudgingly, however lol. I don't like water bottle pockets. I prefer the CPL24's aesthetic. But, I can admit the CTB26 is the best designed travel backpack out there rn.
@AdityaValvi The water bottle pockets are THE reason why I bought it... haha! It’s so hard to find travel/EDC bags with 2 deep & well-built water bottle pockets nowadays! I call them my "super-lazy, quick-access" pockets when I don’t want to unzip anything and just have immediate accessibility to things like straws, napkins, trash, my JBL portable speaker, etc... it’s so convenient, I can’t buy a bag without water bottle pockets anymore. But to each their own! Glad there are many options to choose from to meet everyone’s needs!
I really admire your passion about your products as well as the effort you put into designing something really practical and diverse - it's obvious that every detail of your backpacks is really well-though from the user perspective.

no, since there're already 2 zippers (main compartment and top quick access), one more zipper for a laptop compartment would be too much zipper on the bag. The bag would no longer look neat imho.
I like half zips for daily use. I know clam shell is the hype rn and for traveling i can see that. But for daily use? I think weve missed something with half zip. Only con and major issue why id never get the chz is the laptop pocket is inside so if you do pack it out for heavier day, its doomed inside. I dont get how this was missed. I pack for a heavier day for example, i deff dont want to go into a shop sit down and take out 3 bulky things to get to my laptop.... No way. Very close though. ** And if this isnt meant to be packed out heavier to block the laptop then just make it a 17L?
I know black is the biggest selling color for most bags, but I'm really hoping to see one of these in a new, bright colorway as well (green, or yellow?) (and of course, I love the updates to this design. quiver killer of a bag!)

I wish the laptop was accessible from a separate external opening without having to enter the main cavity. That would be nice.

Looks like a great bag. Would it fit into a 14 in x 5.5 in x 16.9 locker when not fully loaded?
You might be able to barely. The back of the bag is longer than 16.9 inches. At and angle, and with little inside, it might just slide in there.

does the DWR zipper coating break down over time?
Tim - it will wear down over time. But I am rocking bags a few years old and they are going strong.

Hey Christopher! Good question we recommend sliding it into one of the stretch pockets instead. There top access pocket is a little too small:).
