I wondering that bigger genny what is it a 130%? You wouldn't happen to have the drafts on it? I have a j/130 changed the rig to a solent and am trying to figure out what to go with on the over lap sail. thanks
120's are fun boats, but that main-sheet / traveller set up is one of the worst things ever conceived. Explains why they went with a real German system on the 122's.
@@PeterHallett Sailed many years on a 120 but only once on a 122 and it was a med (10-15) and the traveler worked like a dream. On a 120 there are times I would have to kick the trav down with my foot in 25(app) going upwind. As the more sheet load, the more friction in the system.

With air that flat, why so strapped on the main foot? Rule of thumb is two fists of camber in the light airs no?

it is much harder to play / adjust the main than the J109 for sure, but bigger load of course. I would love to try trimming J122 for comparison.
