This is message is not from God. This preacher has clearly got a grudge against people who do well. He is jealous. And that giggling and sounds of approval from the Audience, uncalled for and nothing funny there. I don’t think Salvation Army is about that . If all these people are serious about seeking the true God , then they should revise their ways and discern messages. This preacher will lead them astray
If the message is not from God, then i pray you tell the bible is from who? The challenge is when one seeks to have preachers conform to their expectations...this is why we have teachers, preachers, prophets etc
All the preacher is doing is to highlight day to day behaviors of people in line with the word of God...Hezekiah prayed to God, but the prophet was given his answer
@Irene Mathambo, you pretend to know it all but you don't seem to understand the interpretation of the bible verses. Interpretation has to go with the events of the time you are living in.
If you feel touched by the interpretation of the preacher then your salvation is at hand. It seems you felt like the preacher was pointing fingers at someone. I am telling you that that someone is you. Change your way of doing things if you are a Christian.
Stop judging preachers and repent from your attitude. If you dislike the church or the preacher you have a problem.
As for me I pay attention to the word regardless of what church the preacher attends to. May God help us in receiving his word from anybody 🙏
Ndini Uyawuya I don’t know the man , I made my opinion from what I heard and saw him say. I did not profess to be an expert in the bible but I know at some point it says not all preachers are from God , and we are told that even the devil can quote the bible. I’m not saying this man is a devil , no , but I’m using my power of discernment. You have you own opinion too depending on how you understand the bible.

I have a question for Salvation Army leaders & followers why they don't do "water_baptism". Am told they use their flag to baptize people. What does the Bible says about baptism? Can someone clearly give me an answer regarding such practices.
To my knowledge, the Salvation Army does not baptise. What happens under the flag is not baptism but they call it "commissioning" (as in accepting a soldier into the Army). The Salvation Army does not practise sacraments (including the Holy Communion). When William and Catherine Booth founded the "Army," their intention was not to start a traditional church but "to help the suffering souls throughout London who were not willing to attend - or even welcomed into - a traditional church" (see www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/history-of-the-salvation-army/ for more information). Therefore, they moved away from the traditional church sacraments, with the aim to reach souls directly. This is why the have open-air marches to reach out to communities. They follow the army ways of doing things rather than the traditional church ways. (even their pastors are called "officers" with different ranks such as "candidate," "cadet," "lieutenant," "major," "General," etc.). I stand to be corrected.

Biblically when Jesus got baptized John said Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: so that's also another reason why The Salvation Army does not baptise.
