Sand and snow are pretty similar, you only want the back to hook up, and dont sit up front, just like sand, if the front hooks up it will dig in and turn it. and the more you try to control the front the harder time you will have with it. So lean, dont turn handlebars :) If you get a sand tire for the front, where its completly bald, it helps a lot.
Your thoughts about how the bike handles are exactly my experiences as well. I rode up in Kinross in some 18+ inch snow conditions and it is crazy. You can only go about 10mph on the single track. And riding anything not fresh snow is so sketchy with the front end. And riding in your own track with not fresh powder snow is a hard lesson in practice how deep mud ruts feel. I was riding about 10-15 miles and would be whooped!
You said you don't know what the deal is with the front tire, but I think you need a ski! I'm sure you know about snow Moto's with snowmobile tracks for the rear, but maybe you could just get a ski for the front of your bike?
What gopro do u have, i have the hero 3+ black, my mic stopped working bought one for 6 bucks works again. Bought the actual gopro adapter and 2 other mics that have the 3.5mm plug those dont work and there lapel
Darren Arnold look at the Vin badge on the steering stem. If it doesn't outright say the year go to the tenth digit and whatever it is will tell you the year. Just look at a Vin chart the, 10th digit will correspond with a model year.
Thanks dude, I should be studying for this midterm but now I got a reason to procrastibate for another 12 minutes :D
That's what I like to hear!
Now that's a proper snow day!
Makes me happy seeing you having fun while im stuck at the hospital for sometimes. Keep it up!
riding in untouched snow is awesome as soon as you get in your own path youve made it gets technical
The snowmobile tracks are what makes it super sketchy I've noticed as well!
Maybe a sand front tire would work for better handling? I think sand and snow kinda behave the same. Great vid man!!!
