We had a 4burner Weber with side burner for many years, until a storm tipped it over and that was it. Last spring we bought a Spirit 210 (cabinet) and so far are very pleased with it. And now I’m reminded that sometime this week/end I gotta clean it to prepare for the season. When Chef Saba compares steak cooked on an induction-range cast iron skillet /vs/ cooked in a steam oven /vs/ on a grill, let me know and I’ll road trip up yonder.
Thanks for the review and details on the design changes. I was checking out the grills at the local home store and saw the design differences. I definitely like the newer design and it does appear easier to clean up as well. I am looking at the 3 burner size and am still undecided on the Spirit vs the Genesis II.
Disappointed in the Spirit 210 2 burner with cabinet below. You cannot hang a standard propane tank inside the cabinet. Older models allow you to hang the tank outside and then they changed the design to an indoor hang. Physically impossible to do that. I do not recommend this model.
I saw reviews that showed the Spirit E-310 as the best grill under $500. Checked Lowes price: $699!!! I think Weber has price increased me out of the market!
I have mine for 4 years - 0 repairs and grill looks like new (regular cleaning and in the spring deep clean). The only thing I changed were flavorizer bars from ceramic (original) to stainless steel. For that kind of money the best grill by far - on the other hand I just saw that the price here (Europe) is now 720eur (770$) and I bought it for 450eur? Pffff...

Haha will do!
this is the kind of reviews we need!
super informative, much appreciated.
Glad it was helpful!
Top tier review. Thanks
You can smoke with a spirit grill by taking the hotplate off on one side and using a smoker chip box. Plenty of examples on TH-cam

Fantastic video. Thanks

Didn’t buy the spirit but I did buy the 4 burner Genesis 2 .

Since this video, price has gone up $180-$200 on most of the models. Crazy inflation!
Dang 429 just paid 569 for E210 Spirit!

Lots of repairs will be needed after 5 years
How and what kind of repairs?
