Some advice, Dabi's traps are more deadly in the air than they are on the ground. And also lvl 9 ur beta 1st wit Dabi and play around your traps.
But they kinda useless if you getting shot at cus of a projectile touches them they go off I recommended upgrade your gamma first for defence and close range dmg

Yeah the buff was great, made his special go from practically worthless to decent. Still super easy to counter just gotta stick to him after you down him to make sure he doesn't get back up or just poke him a few times after he gets back up. Barring a plus ultra he wont do it again and then you can take your time to execute or clone or whatever.
Aw so you got the green aura Dabi too. Nice. I always put myself in a trap when opening up gold chests, better protection.i also like to level up gamma before the others. But I don't know the best level up places are on the map. But damn you won 2 times and thats impressive. I always get shot by the damn snipers even with air traps. Poor Dabi needs mobility and his flamethrower so he would stand more of a chance in the battle field.

It's a lot more situational now but.. tbh I wish they'd allow us to use it in storm. I mean it's way too easy to knock someone out of circle so it makes it super situational and, in a lot of situations, downright useless! I can say he feels a lot more canonical and ,when you do meet a situation where you can use it, it is quite the boon...

Also I wish he could activate his self-rez while being hit. It's not too much to ask since other insta-rez characters can activate their abilities on allies getting blasted, plus he only gets half his hp back and the cooldown is so high so you'd likely only use it once in a match if at all anyway.
Everyone knows the strats to just rapid fire blast him so it's still pretty useless anyway. You have 30% chance of actually using it.
I find it fine as it is. I get my res most of the time since I work with my team and they make sure I can get it off. Also they tend to waste shots before I go up making the fight easier once getting back up. It would make it pretty unfair late game 1 v 1 to have instant res without any counter play from the person that downs them since a even fight normally results in you winning by 1 or 2 hits if evenly skilled. Also most res are not instant and require you to pick the person up and drop them back down taking a bit of time and you can knock them out of it. For the others that are instant they cannot do it while the body is in the air so you can keep juggling it to bait res people into bad spots to die so all res have counter play.

Man I wish I had your luck with teammates lol. Usually mine get mad if I get taken out and ask why I "didn't bother" rezing.
And your point about other rez characters is fair, I don't play Support characters so I didn't know they couldn't do it under certain conditions.
And I suppose it would be unfair in a 1v1 to have Dabi insta-rezing but at the same time he struggles in a 1v1 against most characters anyway.
Aizawa, Denki, Kendo, Cementoss, Kirishima would win against Dabi 9/10 times if you're evenly skilled.
If a Cementoss can hide up on pillars the whole time out of harm's way, or a Mt Lady can go Plus Ultra and giant at the same time, then Dabi should be able to have a second chance.
Wait until Rapid Bakugo releases and there'd be little to no chance of Dabi winning a 1v1 against him late game.
@@DemonOfCoffee I do tend to play with at least 1 player so more of people knowing how they should play. I also add anyone that plays as a team even if they arnt good because I rather play as a team in a team game. He does get countered hard in some match ups for sure but he also counters others in 1v1. I rather dabi get other tweeks if they did anything instead of changing special action. I do think his tracker balls is still to slow his alpha still feels bad but maybe that just because I can hit my shots on other chars and dabi I just see all the misses that he hits for me normally. But yeah I fear rapid buk may make many chars even more useless.
Dabi being the first character and only character special action that only works when down and now he is the only character that can revive himself

I mainly just use sprint. tbh though its just a luxury passive and you don't need it. Just kinda feels nice to use it so you dont feel hella slow xD
Dabi's special action really needs the buff back. It only works when your not being attacked (if that makes sense) but the insta res sometimes doesn't even work! Ahhhhhhh

It would be way better if Dabi could use his special action while taking damage and plus ultra/ plus chaos could self revive
That Deku sniper(if it's the same one) has to know it's you, or has chose to go after Dabis in general, and you got the coincidence of taking 3 hits😂

Man, I really want to enjoy this game, but I'm so freaking bad at it. At last count, it's been about 30 straight loses in a row. Am legitimately at a lose for why I can't seem to do well at this game.
So the way Dabis special action works now makes it worse IMO as he’s still susceptible to getting focused it doesn’t work in the storm and with two rapid cards it still takes 5 minutes to come back and without them it’s like 10-15 minutes I think it has more of a reason to be used now but you never get to see that reason

Now that I down a dabi i stay on him until he dies. And yes I know its a dick move. Also it makes no sense why froppy can pick people up when they are getting destroyed but dabi cant pick himself up.
