I built the old k10 version to what the FCX18 K10 is now. Lots of dremal work and I still have the interior. Now I want this one too!

FMS knows how to make new cars with old parts they designed a long time ago.
The body is known, the chassis is known, and with a pinch of magic powder, here is a new model you have to buy. And it works cause we're all kids.😄
Not sure i'll buy one, since there are a Toyota FCX18 and a "low" Chevy K10 like yours in my RC garage. But if not, i'd surely get this lovely truck.
For those who like making their own stuff, it'd be better to buy the low K10 and work on his base to get a scale model more capable.
The truck looks great except for the rear window. I don`t understand why FMS can`t seem to get the dimensions right on their Chevy cabs.(The K5 is even worse) The rear window should match the height of the other windows and the bottom should be just above the bed rail, you know, like a real Chevy truck.
Spray bedliner in the bed and the shocks won't be as obvious

As much as I like the fcx18 lc80 a lot, this one leaves me completely indifferent.
I prefer the Traxxas version, even without the 2 speed gearbox, the look is better and we always have many more upgrades available for Traxxas.
Yes for the lc80.
No for that, it's the same thing rebadged with the fcx18 chassis.
FMS should sell a new kit with a new body and not a "reissue....

I was never interested in the original cheyenne but when I heard that this was coming, I was excited. The Lc80 is awesome and I feel this will be too
When it comes to scale/performance, my preference is similar to you. I at least want it to look like a real vehicle, and it has to perform ok as well. I see other guys that go so scale and cant get over a pebble. I have 1 truck that was build 100% for performance and its almost too easy that its boring.

After moving the screw to the rear, is there anything else we can do to get more steering angle out of the fcx axles like sanding down some areas or something?

I would think so but I haven’t tried it. That interior is actually pretty hard to find. I cut one up for my Trx4m and couldn’t replace it 😆

Hey love the new rigs from fms question I got over drive gears for fcx24 but my brass housing's won't accommodate the smaller gear my housing's are the brass ones that look like stock ones any suggestions plz thanks
Hmmm I haven’t had that issue. What overdrive gears did you get?
@2fmrc on the Pak it says 20t and 5t the 20 fits no problem but 5t won't fit with my brass portal covers they are a no name ebay cover maybe need different portal covers and will this ratio give my truck overdrive 20t and 5t idk
great video! im surprised you even took it out with that wheel and tire setup! changed them out before i even ran it lol. it is a great climber with the long wheelbase!
Yeah I’ve tried to start running them stock before I do any mods. Some people wanna see completely stock first. I knew they wouldn’t do much. Especially on that nasty wet day lol

I still have the old version of the Chevy K10 FMS FCX18 and am very happy with it. Mine doesn't look so finished after over a year! 🤪
Is this supposed to be the answer to the high trail versions from Traxxas? Of course, a car with more ground clearance can drive more easily off-road, but does that make the car look more realistic? 🤔
The new FCX 10 from FMS are not high trail either! This is probably just the answer to the TRX4m.
Holding new born so watched muted - but glad I watched before ordering. Upsetting they couldn’t keep the bed intact with the shocks. I was on the fence about ordering but think I will pass as a result.
...regardless, they missed the mark not having the brown on this model for easy Fall Guy livery...especially with a movie about to land.

They almost pulled it off, except for the super weird back window, grill slots not blacked out , and then theres shocks sticking through the bed !!

i love my k10 but i am having trouble with the rear pinion screw coming out
i bought the scaler one when it came out and now they have this im so disapointed i like the scaler but i tried to make it a crawler and now i can just go this route? i hope it aint 300 like the scaler lol
i wonder if i can take the scaler i have and put on the fcx18 axles and trans swap it cause i didnt like the scaler trans

For me 1/10 is much more fun than 1/18. So the Traxxas would be the winner. Just because these true 1/18 trucks are too large for my indoor course and when I go out crawling no one in my area runs them. So the high trail will get more use.

Yeah it’s definitely more like a high trail version. Sits much higher than the original. Way less scale but much better performance
@@2fmrc I still want the old one, never picked one up. Now I can’t find one. Will pick up an fcx18 but I still want the old k10 as well
