Just stumbled on your first video. Nice job. Welcome to FlossTube. I love the data charts as I work in an industry that thrives on data. I look forward to your progress on your WIPs. Stay well.
What a great first video, Eva! You have some great pieces in progress! Your SPOOKY HOLLOW is going to be awesome! I really love your Milady’s Needle sampler! Your stitchy plans are terrific too! Take care, and I’ll see you next time! 😊😊
Enjoyed your 1st video. Subscribed. I love country cottages Lori holt and fat quarter shop. I'm doing SAL create with Caterpillar Cross stitch. I'm a return to cross stitch beginner so working on Aida 14 count. From Brisbane Australia so expensive getting kits so get PDF. Look forward to seeing more.
Great first flosstube. I like how organized you are. I have the Spooky Hallow series and I plan on starting it next week. I am going to stitch mine separately, I’m not as brave as you to stitch it as one piece lol. I can tell yours is going to look great when it is done. I ordered a frame Etsy earlier today for the monthly samplers. I got mine from Cheeky Sheep Wood shop. I had seen someone on Instagram post it too. Looking forward to seeing your next video.
Oh nice I'm going to check out that Etsy shop--thank so much! You will love the detail in Spooky Hallow--I'm interested in how you will finish your--I could imagine a cute little Halloween village!
I’ve really enjoyed watching all your beautiful projects, Eva. I like how calm you speak and being an engineer myself I appreciate your charts! I look forward to your next videos 💙
Hi from Louisiana, Eve! I’ve been seeing your name all over FlossTube lately, and I just had a chance to tune in today. You are great! 👍 such a calm and natural presence in front of the camera. 🙂 I really loved your choice of projects...you must be a super fast stitcher, too! I look forward to watching the rest of your videos. I can’t wait to see how the library 📚 comes out! Have a great week. Meline
Great first floss tube. Your organization and pie charts are awesome. I was always a 32 count stitcher but over the years have progressed to now 45 count and even trying 56 count (yikes). The best piece of advice I got was to have good lighting, don’t stitch when you are tired and to just enjoy the process. Your LNS may have scraps of linen for that is how I started on the higher counts. Took a small monochrome project and stitched and took my time. Good luck and enjoy. I have had luck with Hobby House Needleworks and Fire Poppies for supplies, I live on the east coast and get my orders within 3 days which is great.
Thanks for all these amazing tips! I saw Nicola Parkman from Hands Across the Sea show her project on 56 count, and I wondered how hard/fun that would be! Do you use a magnifier?
@@amomandhercar2472 I do not use a magnifier yet, I do have progressive lens and they work great. When I have an eye appointment I take my cross stitch with me so this helps with the placement in the lens. When I am doing 1 over 1, I use the following: Inner Vision Women's Reading Glasses w/Spring Hinges & Case - (2.25 x Magnification) - Blue & Grey Tortoise, got them on Amazon. Also have a Brightech light which was a game changer.
