This lighten up my dimming faith... for i've been a lukewarm christian for quite a long time, the world has robbed me of my deepest joy, glory be to God my savior Jesus! i have recovered it thru his precious words...
The Word of God stands forever, still convicts and inspires and comforts and blesses me. I agree that this narrator is incredibly talented and the passion through his voice makes me all- the-more blessed! Thank you, these readings are beautiful.
Praise the Lord for this sermon because my joy is full only when I love even my enemies. Such wonderful transformation came in to my heart when I shun hatred and began to love wholeheartedly .
first time i heard about Charles Spurgeon. I had just decided to study John Wesley as he is founder of one of the biggest denominations in South Africa. TH-cam kept on suggesting Spurgeon. I must say I have since been listening to at least two of his sermons a day ever since. Glory to God. May I learn to know Him and the power of His resurrection and fellowship of His sufferings as continue to seek him through the help of such anointed teachings.
You are a beautiful woman wherever you may be right now. "May I learn to know him" is wisdom thru words. We will never fully know the extent of His glory until that day. But we must learn to know with each day till then. Thru His will, I pray I sit near you at The Welcome Table
I wish there were more preachers like him around. If God says take care of my sheep then he wants us to, for the youngsters who need teaching from the seniors; or for one of a better term those who are much older. Where have all the preachers gone today?
Charles Spurgeon my favorite for sure of all the greats-Stanley,Colson,Swindol. I especially love what he's saying here towards the end of the everlasting Gospel!!For I believe we must rely upon the Word of our King(Jesus)as the instrument of power whenever we seek to do works in His name. For it is the movement of faith through the Holy Spirit!!
Thank-You very much for all these very special sermons this has truly been Blessing for me. Love,Joy,and Peace in Christ Jesus May God send you many special Blessings

Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death. Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon. Charles Spurgeon Sermon - How to Become Full of Joy 1 John 1:4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
Thank you for all of the sermons you have uploaded. Especially Puritans like Jonathan Edwards . Is Sinclair Ferguson the one reading this Spurgeon sermon? Who ever it is did an excellent job.
You can feel joy when you have heard something that makes you happy. You can feel happy whether what you've heard is true or not. So it is important to determine what is true. Believing the words in a 2000-year-old book when you don't know and can't know the character, the agenda, or the veracity of those who wrote those words. Worshipping old books is common but no one trusts them all. Most are rejected without examination. I find rejecting them is the right approach.
Each gospel has different meaning. Mattthew tells of jesus the king the parallables he records all hold references to the king. Mark shows us Christ as a servant devoted and tireless in his activity of loving toil. Luke - Jesus as the man Christ Jesus full of human tenderness and sympathy and his parallables begin a certain man. JOHN REVEALS to us Christ in his true deity and Godhead and gloriously does he do this - in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. I believe that in Pauls writing with the Holy Spirit it shows us that he the true believer is and will be prepared to suffer anything as he has been forgiven by Christ and died a death of torture for his namesake as God is our highest joy and to die is gain and to live is Christ - it is our treasure above billions and billions or infinite lifetimes of earthly pleasures of the world which are ugly to me now but i used to compare it as such that give me any infinite lifetimes of being born a king and all of the world without Christ. No way. Rubbish i say to you. Paul bore witness to the truth and oh how beautifully did he do so. Thank you Lord for everything. May this message reach some souls in need of a saviour and who are in need of saving and so that thet may believe in you and your name my dear Lord Jesus
I am a Christian from China.. I am so moved by this video... although with great persecution in China I hope one day I can have religious freedom...
