Show me how these people you enumerated caused the most harm in the Philippines. The truth is -- it's the Aquinos and the Dilawans, and that's including Duterte (Yes, Dilawan).

Ramos' oil deregulation is also being blamed by some critics for the unreasonable increase of oil prices.
For the high electricity costs, you can blame Corazon Aquino for that because she mothballed the Bataan Nuclear Plant.
"You would never believe that a Filipino would betray his country and for what? For his own personal gain."
Never believe? Are we expecting Filipinos to be patriotic? Most Philippine politicians have ZERO patriotism which is a reason why Philippines is mostly governed by political families who governed cities for decades. The politicians from political families feel entitled to their positions they hold, especially in the city where they or their family members they ran as mayor or vice mayor for decades. They feel they own the gov't positions they're holding, so if they lose the elections, they will get angry, and it will be a war.
These politicians DO NOT love Philippines at all because they are anti-progress, they just enjoy the power and money they earn here. They are anti-progress to keep people poor and uneducated so that it will still be easier to fool them. This is why these politicians prefer visiting senior citizens more than university students. These politicians always want the spotlight which is why if the newly elected mayor or president is a rival of his predecessor, he will cancel his predecessor's projects and build new projects or change the predecessor's projects and if his term ends and the person replaces him is also his rival, his rival will do the same, it's a cycle because politicians here don't want people to remember their rivals and political enemies, especially if they did something good which is why Corazon Aquino mothballed the Bataan Nuclear Plant because if it commences operations and the country benefits a lot from it, people will remember Marcos Sr. as the person who ordered it to be built and Corazon Aquino want him to be remembered by the people as an evil person. If the Bataan Nuclear Plant was never mothballed, then the electricity costs will still be low, the rotating power outages wouldn't happen, and oil prices in the country will be lower than they are now. Nuclear energy is overwhelmingly powerful, a lot cleaner than coal, oil and gas and very safe which is why many countries are using nuclear power plants: Developing countries like Mexico and Egypt is already building 4 nuclear plants, Rich developed countries like South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, UK, France, Finland, Canada and several more European countries have nuclear plants and potential superpowers such as India, Russia and China have nuclear plants too. USA, the only superpower, have the greatest number of nuclear plants.

Nope. Blame Marcos' peso float order of 1984. It caused 50% inflation overnight. Starved the middle class which led them to revolt in EDSA.

He's one of the generals during Marcos administration.
I'm not yet alive during the Marcos' reign but reading and researching about it makes me feel ashamed of how our country has succumbed to poverty. Even if you ask the elderly, they'll say that martial law times is much better than the present.
Some will say it's not. Because of the violence etc. But I think the Marcos administration is just a necessary evil. It's good for the economy and most of the people, but some doesn't take it as their cup of tea. Mostly the communists and destabilizers.

Both best seller of the Philippines - during Cory, we lost our Sabba Island (it was the reign of communists group recruit from Malaysia), at the present decade, we have Duterte who sold and openly said that WPS belongs to China through Gentlemen's Agreement! As you were narrating Ramos’ “traitorous” accomplishments, I kept waiting for the malfeasance he was supposed to have made. In the end - not one thing. Was there even signs that he or his family benefitted from many of his presidential deals? Selling Fort Bonifacio and other public properties at a “cheap” prices seems to have hurried up economic progress because if he waited for an equitable prices, the country could still be selling and stagnating. If you look at BGC now, the transformation of this once empty lot is amazing as it has been transformed into the most modern district of Metro Manila and Asia. Same can be said for those few other properties that had risen and are still rising. We can only look at the Philippine GDP for the last decade or so and how swiftly it had grown faster than most country in the world. This is not even accounting for the lack of growth in extracting oil and gas which has nothing to do with Ramos. One might say without Ramos, the Philippines would still be a stagnant country, or to put it in another way: growing fast economically without the benefit of local oil and gas extraction like our SEA neighbor, is one big accomplishment.
I wouldn’t just nonchalantly discard an old soldier (and a general at that who served gallantly in the Korean War). That is too much of a disrespect for a man who has a brilliant career in the military, and who now served as a brilliant president. I think he should be recognized as one of the best president of the Philippines.

Better not discuss topics about Philippine politics. Let our historians, journalist, political citizen advocates have the say on this. Philippines does not have perfect president but the fact remains that Leaders are elected by people. Xpres. Fidel V. Ramos may have controversies during his era but we consider his hands on governance, boosted economic strategy, less insurgencies and peace and order
