Well-done interview. I've met Dani and he's a really nice guy and I always enjoy what he has to say. Oh, and definitely agreed with the Gene Simmons part.

I hope they don't make that Cruelty remix too "modern"! But it's cool to get a remix nontheless so I am very excited. The album deserves it! (Although I do love the original despite its production).
Richard Shaw is just brilliant, even if the album sounds Iron Maiden-ey, its so much fun to play and listen to

Man I love listening to some KISS but Dani is right on with Gene. Over the last few years his head has gotten so big I'm not sure it fits on the planet anymore. Dani definitely has the right to say it to KISS has never wrote anything nearly Intricate and powerful as CoF.
If cradle make cruelty sound like any album after it , it will be a travesty , i dont think it sounds dated ATALL , nor do i think the drums suck - Cruelty was cradles pinnacle moment, everything about it is perfect. I also think you can find that cruelty vibe on dimmu borgins Puritanical album, with nic barker on drums. That was one fucking great era ! They should write more albums in that style with the same level of commitment, the newer albums feel quick and too modern sounding

Ira Dronova The original Cruelty will always exist lol. I'd imagine it'll still be Cruelty, but you'll be able to hear the guitars properly and the drums will sound like drums.
