I should subscribe so have. I have over 1000 postcards, maybe 2000. Most are either art or soial commentary/scenes. Because I had a dear friend who was born in Russi in 1912 she was caught up in the revoultion and her life story through to immigrating to Harbin and Australia is what lead me to postcard collection. From then it grew and I just began to collect what I like. Many are of people as I have always been interested in people and portraiture. I also love the ones that are rare and have engaging stories on the back. They are a delight to collect. I have tried as best as I can to sort them into countries of origin.Now that I have a room full of them I have stopped collecting but I still go upstiars and look through my postcards.
