Please check this blog post, it shows how to add DNS records stape.io/blog/how-to-set-up-meta-conversions-api-gateway#step-7-optional-add-custom-domain
I have a question: Is the Conversions API Gateway triggered by the pixel? If the pixel is blocked by the browser or an ad blocker, then no data will be sent, right? So, the sGTM is better than GW?
my problem dns setup, please details video for dns setup, how to setup dns, and whare setup dns? whare setup dns hosting panel? or domain panel? what is the sub-domain? please details video
It's highly recommended that data routing is configured; it positively impacts tracking. Unfortunately, we do not have numbers we can share that show the impact of data routing.
Usually, after connecting a data source to the Gateway Hub, web events start arriving and being sent as server events within an hour. You can check this in your Gateway Hub UI. On the Meta(event manager) side, the delay can be up to 48 hours, just like with regular browser events.
Thanks, Ira for making this...This is so much easy and affordable. I have a question... if I'll shift from my old gateway (GTM) then does my data record gets hampered or will be there any issue targeting people for Facebook Ads?
@@Stape I currently use sGTM using your servers. is there an advantage to switching to CAPI Gateway? One of the reasons I'm thinking to migrate is that I have more than fb pixel now on my Store and only 1 is setup via sGTM. Id like to send data from both FB pixels to my add account. Is there a way to add the second pixel to current sGTM container while maintaining the 1st one still active? or do you recommend I move to a CAPI Gateway instead to have multi FB pixel setup. Thanks in advance
@@garycontreras4832 the decision of whether you should move to CAPIG or stay with sGTM is up to you and depends primarily on if you need to set up server-side tagging for other platforms like Google, TikTok, etc. You can send data to as many FB pixels as you want using the sGTM container.
please follow these steps to test the configuration stape.io/blog/facebook-conversions-api-gateway-the-easiest-way-to-implement-fb-capi#how-to-test-conversions-api-gateway

Is the event de-duplication handled automatically in this case (by connecting the pixel and API)? @Stape
Yes, CAPIG automatically handles deduplication.

What if i want to use this on shopify?
You can use the CAPI Gateway on any CMS, including Shopify. The key requirement is that your Meta Pixel is configured correctly

I suggest using either sGTM or Gateway to set up FB Conversion API
