I applied for my citizen and two weeks later they was sending that letter about saying that they received my application and 2 days later I received another letter with the day of my interview. Ask the representation if you can go in for an InfoPass appointment to speak with an officer about your case, or if he/she can put in a request to expedite your application. And I speak to one of the officer he said according to my location the earliest will be October and I need to study abroad in august so I think I will need to say goodbye to my plan for next semester but thank you for replying. You can usually still travel using your green card as long as you don't stay outside the country for more than 6 months and keep your physical presence/continuous residence in the U.S. But if it doesn't work out for the fall semester, hopefully you can apply abroad for the spring semester. Look for Form N-400 and then click on your closest field office. - egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ 👍♥️ It will give you an *estimated timeframe* of when you can expect your interview *from when you first applied.* Check back often, as processing times change periodically. 👍 Also - lately we have been seeing much faster processing times than what is actually stated on the website, so it's difficult to say for sure.
Also, it goes faster if your biometrics appointment (for fingerprints) gets waived - which is happening more frequently.

We recommend that you go in prepared just in case. *Much of the interview is up to the discretion of the USCIS officer and your specific immigration case and history.* He or She will be checking your understanding of the N-400 application form and *your ability to speak and understand English.*
For Part 12, you don't need to memorize "dictionary" definitions. Just have a basic idea of what the words mean. For example, "claimed you were a citizen" means that you told someone you were a citizen but it was not true; genocide means to kill a lot of people; a weapon is a gun. Keep it simple. Some other options:
You can send a direct message using the "Inbox" in your USCIS online account explaining the situation. myaccount.uscis.gov/
You can also call the customer service line at 1-800-375-5283. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm Eastern. Say, "InfoPass Appointment" when the system asks why you are calling. Ask the representation if you can go in for an InfoPass appointment to speak with an officer about your case, or if he/she can put in a request to expedite your application.
The field offices do not have direct e-mails, but you can send a typed letter to your specific field office explaining your situation. Please remember to put your A-Number, Receipt Number, Full Legal Name, and Date of Birth in your letter. Send the letter by certified mail. Keep a copy of your letter. And I speak to one of the officer he said according to my location the earliest will be October and I need to study abroad in august so I think I will need to say goodbye to my plan for next semester but thank you for replying. She told me to upload something but I don’t speak good English so I didn’t understand what I need to upload.
Sorry about that, @makeneabwe755 . You can usually still travel using your green card as long as you don't stay outside the country for more than 6 months and keep your physical presence/continuous residence in the U.S. But if it doesn't work out for the fall semester, hopefully you can apply abroad for the spring semester.
