Ghana has always subscribed to a Socialist begginjng with Nkrumah. The Ghanaian Establishment which made up nearly entirely of people not used to Private Property. After a Coup for example, "Rich" people were stripped of their assets.
In Nigeria however, businessmen, men of wealth, were never touched.
Our disdain for the Private entrepreneurship was ingrained by Nkrumah. Those who gained from that and their descendants are unwilling to embrace Enrrpeeneueship. Preferring instead to enjoy State funds.
