I am very excited about hiking this next July (2018). Been to YNP four times, but haven't hiked as much as we would like.
This is a great walk no matter which sections you do! (or the whole thing!!)
"Rounded slope to death." Love it. It's a lot like hiking around Crater Lake. Will you do any winter hikes in Yellowstone?
Probably not. I have too much work on my computer to do to get my maps ready for spring!
I plan to drive up one winter, when I can afford better gear.
Stephen Hill I'm thinking a rain jacket won't cut it in February. :D
