The word ‘カバー(cover)’ means ‘book jacket, dust jacket’ when we talk about books. ‘Book cover’ which is a front page of a book is called 表紙（ひょうし）in Japanese😊

One of my favorite things about manga is the art. And not just inside the books, but on the spine, manga lights up the shelves it rests on. This is why I prefer paper to digital :)

I've completed hiragana and katakana in around one and half month... I can read all the words.. with 1-3 seconds.. your mnemonics guidance was too easy... But then I was looking for the kanji mnemonics in your channels... Yet I don't anything about kanji... I just wanted to learn from the same sensei

We do have Black Jack series😊 My dad loves Osamu Tezuka and has collected lots of his manga! Osamu Tezuka is known as a ‘Father of Manga’. He is a legend!

am i the only who dislikes that removable cover of tankoubon manga format? And also the font, it's usually too small and hard to read.

There are some people who dislike that cover and remove them all😂 but without the cover, the book itself will be worn out easily (especially each corner of the book), so most of people keep it on.
Some of the manga otaku people put additional transparent cover on the original cover to protect their favorite manga😂
Yeah the font is small but we are get used to reading Japanese letters even when it’s small🤔
If I were a Japanese learner, I might think it’s too small…especially kanji…
@@satous-nihongo-playground i actually glue the cover to the book itself so it never falls haha. By the way, i have a suggestion, as a japanese learner, i'm always looking for content in japanese to consume, but i find raw content the most useful, and by raw i mean without the help of english translation, and i think most learners would agree. That said, i think it would be best if you only put japanese subtitles, without english subs on the videos (as hard subs at least, there would be no problem to make english soft subs, cause they can be turned off). Sorry for the long comment, anyways, i enjoyed the video and i'm looking forward for more content like that!

To be honest, I have been thinking a lot about how to make my lesson videos. I have added both English and Japanese subs only because many of my subscribers are beginners and I thought that would be helpful. However, when I learn English from some videos, I watch it only with English subs because I can’t improve my English if I rely on Japanese subtitles too much.
I can say the same thing to Japanese learners🤔
I think I will upload more videos only with Japanese subs and English CC which can be turned on and off easily so that those videos can be useful for all leaners at different levels🔥
What I need is opinions from Japanese learners and yours was so helpful!!

I think so too… Just ‘romance’, ‘adventure’ or any genre name is enough I think🤔 I used to tell my brother to read my favorite ‘shōjo manga’ because it was really good but he hesitated as it’s called ‘shōjo(girls) manga’.😂 He read it and liked it in the end though👍🏻
