The MRT Putrajaya Line or MRT 2, previously known as the Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya Line (SSP Line), will be the twelfth rail transit line, the second Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line, and the fourth fully automated and driverless rail system in the Klang Valley area. It is a part of the larger rail transport system in Kuala Lumpur known as the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System. The line is numbered 12 and colored Yellow on official transit maps.
It is one of three planned mass rapid transit (MRT) rail lines under the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit Project by MRT Corp. Phase 1 operations of the line between Kwasa Damansara and Kampung Batu stations is scheduled to be operational in 16 June 2022. The remaining line (Phase 2 from Kentomen to Putrajaya Sentral Station) is expected to be operational in January 2023.
The approved rail alignment is 52.2 km in length, of which 13.5 km is underground. A total of 37 stations, 9 of them underground (excluded Bandar Malaysia Utara and Bandar Malaysia Selatan Station) , will be built.
The line will stretch from Sungai Buloh to Putrajaya and will include densely populated areas Sri Damansara, Kepong, Batu, Jalan Ipoh, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Jalan Tun Razak, KLCC, Tun Razak Exchange, Kuchai Lama, Seri Kembangan and Cyberjaya. It is expected to have a ridership of 533,000 passengers per day once completed.

Hi I just want to ask, what time was this taken? Will they be testing the train on weekends as well? I will be making my way trip up soon and it will be very interesting to get this kind of move if I’m there. Thanks!

For the recorded date, you may refer to the description box.😉 As for the movement of the test train at this station it depends on the time and as for the frequency it is very unpredictable. The only thing I can advise is just base on your luck🙂 For my case, when I was shoot my other video I heard the traction motor of the train and I just stand by my cam and during that time I was lucky enough to shoot the test train at this station. I recorded this video during daytime, when it comes to night time if I not mistaken not much test trains test run at time. The best time to spot is during daytime😉
