The portals in this game are actually not random. You can manipulate your destination to a degree based on what direction you are pressing and which one you use. When I was a kid my dad almost pulled his hair out trying to do this part. But, then I could do it instantly by just pressing the right keys during the teleport.
lol yeah but they are broken to a point where that doesnt always work...you can see my controller on the screen. Sometimes those pesky portals are out to get ya! lol
