They skipped some monster encounters entirely, shuffled a few scenes around, combined the two succubus encounters into one, left out the caravan and the worldbuilding of the local culture entirely... In local culture, women warriors are an indespensible part of any group that traverses the sands. Just as Demon God Laplace spread dragons to the mountain ranges on the Central Continent to disrupt Human logistics, he also spread succubi from one corner of the Begaritt Continent to the entirety of it to break Human resistance. Just one succubus can decimate a platoon of men by enamouring them all, taking one away for coupling and consumption, and leaving the rest to kill each other. A woman warrior can rather easily kill the succubus and then take care of the men to cure them of the status effect.
