    was a great tutorial but incomplete at some points:
    - you should have told to add inbound rules of tcp and udp required for docker swarm while creating SG for ec2 instance
    - just after ssh(ing) in the manager or worker nodes, firstly we need to install docker and stuff
    - also the port mapping 80:80 would only work when we add another inbound tcp rule for port 80
    Learnt a lot from this video.. thanks for that.

    Service - Nodes - Containers are being used interchangeably. If I understand correctly, Nodes contains Containers ( one or many) and Services are used to execute task on those Nodes (Master or Worker) to perform any operations on those containers. Is this correct?

    Hey, nice video! One question : how can I handle sticky sessions to load balance websockets between docker swarm workers? thx in advance 🔥

    • @KrishnaBSingh
      @KrishnaBSingh 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Docker swarm does not currently support sticky sessions, round robin is the only way to reach services by their exposed ports.

    Once we exit from the node containers distributed to other working nodes. Suppose if add one more node to the swarm can we move the running container to the newly joined node?

    Thanks Intellipat,for such important video.
    Could you please make video in kubernaties and docker Swarn real time scanrio based interview question.If I have 3worker node and 3replica.If I created new 2more replica then if we deploy 2replica then it's will deploy in which worker node?
    Thanks once again..👍🙂

    • @Intellipaat
      @Intellipaat  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi@@Raj-si5yz, In that situation, the 2 new Nodes will get deployed randomly on any of the worker nodes unless you specify a constraint.

    Hi
    1.why should you use it public ip in docker swarm init instead of private ip
    2. I deployed a stack but the replica was working only on the work node and the master node didn't appear the replica
    3.how should I be connected in a single ip work node and master node access the site is it possible
    4.About the visualizer and c advisor is good or any other option to monitor the container

    • @Intellipaat
      @Intellipaat  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @rajarajan8869
      1. Why should you use public IP in Docker Swarm init instead of private IP?
      - Using the public IP in `docker swarm init` ensures that the Swarm manager can be accessed from other machines or nodes outside the local network. If you're setting up a multi-node cluster with nodes across different networks or remote servers, public IPs are necessary for communication between the nodes. For a local or private network setup, a private IP would work.
      2. I deployed a stack, but the replica was working only on the worker node, and the master node didn't appear as a replica.
      - This might be due to resource constraints, node labels, or service configurations. Ensure that your stack configuration (e.g., `docker-compose.yml`) doesn't have constraints that would restrict the replica to only worker nodes. Also, check if there are any resource limits or scheduling issues preventing the replica from running on the manager node.
      3. How should I be connected to a single IP for work node and master node to access the site? Is it possible?
      - Yes, it's possible to access both worker and manager nodes through a single IP if they are behind a load balancer or if you're using a reverse proxy setup. You can set up a service on your load balancer or proxy to route traffic to the appropriate node, depending on your configuration.
      4. About the visualizer and cAdvisor: Is it good, or are there any other options to monitor the container?
      - Both Docker Visualizer and cAdvisor are useful tools for container monitoring, but they have their limitations. If you're looking for a more comprehensive solution, you could explore alternatives like Prometheus combined with Grafana for real-time monitoring and visualization. Portainer is another popular option for managing and monitoring Docker environments.

    Hello, I am not able to join a swarm as a worker node. When i try so i get following error.
    Error response from daemon: Timeout was reached before node joined. The attempt to join the swarm will continue in the background. Use the "docker info" command to see the current swarm status of your node.
    What can be the next step to solve this?
