Oh my goodness you don’t see many of those shuttles anymore!!! My grandmother worked in a woolen mill in her younger years with those and had one come across the room and strike her in the arm, pretty dangerous work hazard way back when!! She had quite the scar from that accident. Thanks so much for sharing

I stitched a piece for a shuttle by Hinzeit: Charmed Shuttle: Beware, Blessing & Believe. I stitched Believe and it is in an antique shuttle like the one you have. I don't have the chart anymore, but had the info in my journal. Enjoy!

Ironically, my sister was just visiting from Jersey, and we were lamenting over the fact that the closest stitching store to our area is in VB. Please keep us posted on Liberty Hill's opening.

Very enjoyable flosstube. Thanks! For the spindle, you might consider “Sampler Roll” by Samplers Remembered. I don’t see the pattern around much but I got mine from the Attic. It’s a row of lovely vintage houses and trees. Adapted from an antique sampler.
This was GREAT with the two of you! Those ivory antique finds🤯!! My initial thought for something to go in the shuttle was Sylvia's 'Acorn' patterns stitched in a row instead of on buttons, maybe add some stitched embellishments to lengthen it some??
