Do the Greens have any idea how much "green energy" we will need to produce for the millions of extra people pouring into our country, year after year? It's probably quite difficult to lower a nation's carbon emissions at the same time its population is constantly growing because of mass migration.
Town and cities are flooding more frequently because developers are building on traditional flood plains and not putting big enough drainage systems in place. Major rivers are not being dredged as often thereby reducing the amount of flow depth, that will also increase the speed at which water will run and give natural river banks are harder time through erosion, of course flooding is going to be more prevalent.
