I still have one which I purchased new years ago. Put one B&W film through it, liked the result but for some reason put it away and didn't use it again. With it I have the original case, strap, lens cap and lens hood, which reverses over the lens. It is going to get some use now.
Why do I want one lol 😂 I have a trip this looks interesting ohhhh dear going to have to go to eBay lol 😂 Footnote I just got one excited to use it thanks for sharing
There is a manual override where you can set the aperture you like, but that only gives you the one shutter speed: 1/30. Can be useful if you want to take a pic in lower light and the auto exposure system thinks you can't.
It always depends on the specific camera, how it was stored: in the dark or in the light. The exposure meter dies faster in the light. I have come across perfectly working ones.
Just got myself one of these, wondering if anyone knows what film I need to buy for it? Just want to check before I go out and buy also looking forward to learning to use this
I have the same camera, but your works are way more amazing! They are so beautiful!
Thank you so much!
got one , its a fantastic bit of kit.

Great, now I want one! At least to try out.
You totally should. It's a really nice lens, for starters.
so the shutter is automatic-only? and you can manually select aperture if you desire? i really like this camera, seems like a more refined 8m

@@kosmofoto thanks for the reply!!
Is that celenium cell still functional? That would be my main worry with these cameras.

The cell on this FED still works perfectly fine.

Hey - any 35mm film is fine. If it's a sunny day start off with a colour negative film such as Kodak Gold 200 or ColorPlus 200.
