If your plea deal includes incriminating others, yeah that's snitching, but like you worded, most of the time you're copping to what you did and saving yourself and the DA the trouble of taking it to trial so you can bang out your sentence and get it over with. Anyone saying that plea deals are snitching have to explain how and why facing the consequences of your own actions, if you're not putting heat on others, is snitching when it seems like the exact opposite of snitching to me.

If I create a situation that involves retaliation, I dissappear. Until I can sort out such situation accordingly. If I can't and people I know or love get hurt. I figure out away to find you and handle it accordingly. No matter how long it takes. But if my child goes missing or the person I love does, best believe I'm coming for help. The more help the better. Saving a person and solving a case are different.
