The only true fact I know about the former President Jimmy Carter is that his wife Rosalynn once hung out with the infamous serial killer John Wayne Gacy (there's even a photo of the two) because he was a local politician with the Democratic Party in Chicago, and the Secret Service are apparently terrible at vetting people whom they give clearance to stand next to the First Lady, even though by that time Gacy had already been convicted and served time for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy. Rosalynn Carter is now 95 years old and suffers from dementia, and while dementia is terrible, I would say in her case it's preventing her from waking up in cold sweats thinking about the day she shook hands with John Wayne Gacy.
Hugo is an embarrassment to the Carter name. In my opinion and all that. Also, who saw the “Family is everything” and totally thought someone related to the Fast and Furious franchise was there?
What's funnier is that Tom probably is disappointed in the joke, because he's literally the guy who made fun of himself in SNL, pretending he had no idea what Castaway was.

A reality tv series like this scares me. Can you imagine someone coming from an abusive toxic family, working hard to not only better themselves but to make it in their chosen career that happens to make them famous only for an abusive toxic family member to use *your* own hardwork to get rich and famous.
Somehow I doubt any of these people are going to get "rich and famous" off publicising they're related to a celebrity. Their performance on the show will be more what gets them any fame. People's toxic dirtbag families always try and ride the coattails of the people they harmed. You can't stop someone from bragging or trying to use family connections to coast. Most of them will only get the barest of residuals, however, because unless they themselves have at least the personality to get positive attention, bragging only gets you so far.

i loved season 1! i never watch reality tv, cuz i don't like how useless the drama feels. but i like this one, because it's not reliant on couple drama or anything, it's a game, so anything that happens is game related. like people will be sneaky and lie and try to make alliances, but also it's like a fun vibe. also every week the challenges get more and more revealing, so it gets harder to hide. and the vibes in season one were just fun, i liked seeing the friendships and stuff. there was no major meltdown, except when whoopi goldberg's granddaughter was found out and h=she did her exit, it was really funny lmao
So, this is the first video of yours that I shared with my mom. She likes your sense of humor, her only critique was "Sometimes she talks a little too fast". 😂 But I had to show her this, because I was telling her about the freak-out, and she was like "No, no, grown woman would do that"... We couldn't stop laughing for nearly half an hour. This past weekend was REALLY stressful for her and me, so the laughs were definitely appreciated.
Last season they kept the more obvious person (Simone Biles' sister who looks like her twin) around longer, as a safety net, so Travis or the Osmond kid could potentially stick around longer
I love your reviews on reality TV. My sister and I watch them and compare notes, and tell each other how much we laughed at them. Amanda, do you have any interest in covering "Jury Duty" ? " Would be curious to see your thoughts . Cause on the one hand, it's a genuinely funny and heartwarming show in its own right, but on the other hand, the methods used to create the Truman Show-esque pseudo-reality are a pretty ominous ethical nightmare that has some scary implications about the future of "reality TV and informed consent" in the future.
Not really surprising. The niceness or moral qualities of a person doesn't translate to their offspring or grandoffspring - if they pass down wealth or influence, those people will become nastier.
Kevin and I go to the same cosmetic dermatologist (is that tea?) and he's the nicest guy. I'm not a Jonas Brothers fan, but I'm the kind of person who generally freaks out when they see anyone with any kind of fame (it's embarrassing, I know) so I did talk to him and he couldn't have been nicer. I won't stand for any Kevin hate. LOL (BTW This isn't a HIPAA violation. 🤣He actually appears in one of her commercials so I guess he's proud of his Botox. 🤷♀)

I'd love to see a season of this show where *all* the contestants claim to fame is Kevin Bacon.
I LOVE reality tv and I love when you cover reality tv! They are so fun to watch 🥰
i loved season 1! i never watch reality tv, cuz i don't like how useless the drama feels. but i like this one, because it's not reliant on couple drama or anything, it's a game, so anything that happens is game related. like people will be sneaky and lie and try to make alliances, but also it's like a fun vibe. also every week the challenges get more and more revealing, so it gets harder to hide. and the vibes in season one were just fun, i liked seeing the friendships and stuff. there was no major meltdown, except when whoopi goldberg's granddaughter was found out and h=she did her exit, it was really funny lmao
I really hate reality tv drama.... that being said, I do also have a celebrity relative and that prize money is really tempting.
omg, I ALSO feel the uncontrollable urge to tell everyone that Donny Osmond is Shang's singing voice. what a vibe!
I love the reality show videos💕💕💕 please review asteroid city!!!
I talk about it a bit in my Cannes video! I sadly haven't had a chance to watch it a second time
LMAOOOO!!! Please keep them coming, I had no idea this show existed but your commentary makes it 1000% better ❤
Carter's Grandson has big "I play the protagonist boy from a forgotten teen dystopia adaptation" energy. Anyone else see that?
Last season they kept the more obvious person (Simone Biles' sister who looks like her twin) around longer, as a safety net, so Travis or the Osmond kid could potentially stick around longer
I love your reviews on reality TV. My sister and I watch them and compare notes, and tell each other how much we laughed at them. You're definitely keeping two girls entertained with the MILF Manor stuff. Also, I totally expect different from any of Tom Hanks' relatives and then... we get her amazing reaction and I have no words. FAKE OR NOT.
I’m glad I subscribed. This chick is very entertaining and I’m here for it
I love these reality show videos dude. I can't watch the shows alone because I have intense second hand embarrassment, so it's nice to share that with you.
It feels kinda racist that she refers to Gabriel as stupid when he didn't do or say anything dumber than anyone else on the show and was the first to say Forrest Gump.
It's not kinda, it is. Take a stand.
Definitely is! She said it literally with NO context !
I watch this show, I'm not huge into reality shows, but it's kinda fun, feels more laid back. And the first also has crazy first elimination.
Not a fan of reality shows but a fan of your review/summaries/commentary. They crack me up. Only thing that makes them entertaining. Need some lighter stuff once in a while. Super excited to finally know what happens in all those Fast and Furious movies though, lol!
I need an iconic meltdown like Carly meltdown for Claim To Fame Season 3!
I like Gabriel from that little clip I can tell he's very charismatic
I Think you Should Leave is the best show I've never seen! I just discovered it recently and addicted
Reality show is fake? Wow! Actually, I'd love to be a scriptwriter for a reality show.
As someone who is not watching the show, I love that I know who all these ppl are already
Fun fact everytime you say "Milf manor" i think you say "Bly manor" and i just ?????what does that have to do with sucking toes"
(English isnt my first language and everytime i hear the word "manor" i think about Bly)
I would actually love if you watched and recapped this whole series because it's super ridiculous. Watching reality TV *through* you is the only way I can watch this stuff
I don't really like reality shows... but I'm LOVING these recaps
I never see this show or the video. But I was so invested in your recap and now I am so sad you won't watch the rest of it 😂
It’s like junk food, it’s bad for you but you can’t look away. I can’t always make it through it, so I love when you cover them!😊
Okay, did that woman record the wendigo screams for Until Dawn? Cause…spot on.
I love you talking about bad media!
I was watching and my husband was just sitting in the room. He thought that last moment was unhinged
Wait holy shit. Why did I just learn that the zipline guy was from an actual show and not a comedy skit💀💀
I'm a bit surprised about Jimmy Carter's grandson. Narcissistic vibes 😬 hope he's just acting
And his face looking like he's related to Elon Musk doesn't help his case either 😣
LOL
(BTW This isn't a HIPAA violation. 🤣He actually appears in one of her commercials so I guess he's proud of his Botox. 🤷♀)
please make more, this is so oddly entertaining
The first thought I had when I saw Hugo in those clips was that he had some major “rich sim” vibes. He’s got that stuck up sims 4 posture, you know?
…no? Just me lol.
