I LOVE reading what you all have in your daily bag. I'm surprised with how many of you carry around emergency kits. So smart. I'll have to build my own!
My purse, a pen, and My Emergency Kit: its in a small zipcase that is easy to move from one bag to another. It contains pain-killer tablets, antihistamines tablets (for alergic reactions), clean undies, tampon, pad, bandaid, hair-tie, hair clip, elastic band and a small nail-file. 😀😁 my emergency kit has saved me or others around me so many times, it now feels normal to always have it on me.
No, its actually a very small bag, smaller than the one you have. I have several small bags and my purse, pen and emergency kit fit into all my bags. Its easy to pick my bag for the day and just move my items. You should try making an emergency kit! It helps it all rolling around in your bag as well. My painkillers, I just cut 4 from the packet, so its not a whole box, just what I would need, same with the antihistamines tablets, just 2 and the hair-pins, just two small ones and 4 baidaids is more than enough. If I use them, its easy to restock when I get home. But you should try what you need for your kit. Could be a fun video 😉💡
I have the same kind of thing and it is like that episode when Phoebe and Monica accidental switched purses. One was super prepared and the other was random. Guess who had a great and stressfree successful day? The other fell apart. Everything in the emergency kit comes in miniature if you look for it. I can fit it into a tiny bag, no problem and it goes from bag to bag. Maybe I should do a video too ;) Let's all do one :)
So this is really random... but I always carry a super jumbo Sharpie in my bag. Because if I need to go to a protest with no notice, I can make a sign easily. Also a Burts Bees hydrating stick because dry hands omg.
I'm also have a Sharpie in my bag! If I go to an event or random group gathering - I write my name on a glass or bottle (if it disposable, of course) and it never gets mixed up 💪
I had the same problem for the first year of me trying one and almost gave up. Then found out my cervix is tilted and I have to insert it a bit differently for it to work. Haven't had a leak since. So maybe also look into that.@@AjaDang
Cups don't work for some people. They certainly didn't work for me. I'm such a heavy bleeder and I couldn't deal with the leaking or having to dump it and rinse it out in public restrooms.
I’m a nurse so I always carry a mini sharpie, a mini highlighter, alcohol swabs/pads, and my multi tool from REI! Having the nail file and mini scissors has come in so handy!
I try to always carry a large wide mouth mason jar with a lid. For a while I would tell myself “no more buying coffee/smoothies!” but that’s not always realistic, so my compromise is that IF and ONLY IF I remember to bring my cup, I can buy a drink if I really want it. Also comes in handy for leftovers!
I have a cleaned-out empty glass jar with a metal lid in my bag at all times. It used to be almond butter but I decided to repurpose it after I ate it all. I can't tell you how many times this jar has come in handy. I've been known to throw leftovers in there - anything from fried rice, or maybe a half-eaten brownie from the bakery, delicate earrings that I don't want to get tangled or lost in my bag, a broken tube of handcream that I will depot later at home, and I've even asked the barista to please put my takeaway coffee in it.
I love that you bring your own utensils! I also bring my own kit; it's a small change but it makes all the difference. And eating food knowing that you're not using plastic (that will be thrown away immediately) feels good.
Love this video! I also carry around a "med kit" with tums, allergy meds, pain killers, dental pick, shout wipe, bandaid, etc. that really comes in handy (I also cut the meds out of the packets, loose pills get squashed). Mine is just a small plastic baggy from Muji. I fill a bunch of them and stick them in all my bags and purses so they are all ready to go at all times :). Other than that I also carry my wallet, phone, keys, headphones, tampons from Lola (the only place I've ever seen have non-applicator tampons which is great for smaller bags), and at least two kinds of lip balm like you do. The extra things I carry that you didn't mention are gum, a charger (I use the one from my Away bag!), and hand cream. It sounds like a lot but I can fit it all into my small purse from the Kooples.
I work in a tow yard so I always carry a high vis vest in my purse 😅 I also always carry sea salt because honestly you never know when you’re going to need to season food or clean a wound
I always carry around a little stack of sticky notes and a pen/sharpie because sometimes you never know when you need to write something down to remember later
The not-so-ordinary thing I carry: an itty bitty sewing kit - it has a needle, a little bit of red, black, white, blue thread, tiny scissors, a needle threader, and two buttons (one black, one white). It came with my sewing machine, and it has been useful to me when I had a random tear in the leg at a wedding from dancing too hard.
Thank you!! I'm going to check out Lola. In my bag, something out of the ordinary is that I have activities for kiddos to do. I carry a very small purse usually so everything I have is compact, but no matter where I go, I have kits of stickers, pens/pencils, and paper, even if they are tiny. I also carry a knife, more of a tool than a weapon, but it can be a weapon. Those kits and my blade seem opposites, but I have them in my tiny purse.
I always carry a medicine bag. Since I have food allergies, I keep an Epi-pen, Benadryl, Zyrtec, Nasacort, eye drops and anything else I would need in an emergency.
love this video!! i totally carry around some of the same stuff as you like the tampons, chapstick, etc. but i also like to carry 2 pairs of earphones with me if i'm going to the gym. one has the cord so i can just plug it into my phone (usually used for walking home). and the other is cordless/bluetooth so in case it dies i always have a backup! also highly recommend those bc it's a total GAME CHANGER esp. at the gym! i was skeptical about it at first but it's much more convenient when working out!
Aja, I got myself passion planner and I looove it, thank you for a great recommendation. And also I have locked myself out few times, so I know the pain and the obsession before leaving the house: keys, keys, keys.... Great video Aja😘😊
I always carry both a hand cream AND a cubicle cream. I also have gum! Otherwise my bag is pretty much a twin to Aja’s. Though I am going to have to start carrying some stainless steel chopsticks and straw.
I don’t smoke but I always carry a lighter. Once I had one on me and coincidentally someone asked to borrow a lighter to light a surprise birthday cake candle, and I’ve always carried a lighter on me since
@@AjaDang yes! I live by myself and their podcast made me realize how many things no one would know if I went missing. You should do a video on it- just like financial freedom, preparedness is key!
I'm trying to understand how you use the tampons without an applicator lol. I'm tempted to give them a try but is it a little difficult to put them in without it?
Out of the ordinary in my bag...maybe the small flashlight I have that my husband got me bc he insisted just in case of emergency, which is actually a good idea. Havent had to use it yet but it’s there in case
I'm terrified to carry my Passion Planner around with me! I always think about Melanie Griffith in Working Girl when she leaves her Filofax first at the dry cleaners and then at Sigourney Weaver's house, lol!
Like a lot of others are saying, an emergency kit with pain meds, allergy meds, anxiety meds, tissues, deodorant, hand cream, and a small portable phone charger.
Such a nice video Aja! I also have feminine hygiene products with me, it happened to me that people were asking for things so I thought I might as well keep some with me just in case :D
Foster Grant readers (old lady eyes here) that come in a case that folds down the glasses flat. I carry small purses and wristlets, so it's a huge space saver.
Hey Aja! Love your green nails! Do you use Bite beauty’s agave lip mask? I’m addicted to maple syrup. I have handkerchief/paper napkins and a phone charger in my bag. It’s not that wired, is it?
I see what is out of ordinary in your bag! You don’t have a charger for your phone!!! XD cause I don’t know how to keep nit that ex-white stinky cable 🙈
I’m sorry but the comment on the Iphone kinda rubbed me the wrong way... “IDK what kind of Iphone it is” even though you have one of the most recent and most expensive ones? It’s just- like, check your privilege for a bit, girl.
girl, you're suppppper sensitive. I don't know what kind of iphone it is bc it's an older model and I don't know which one it is specifically nor do I care since all I care about is if it's working. I'd apologize about the comment but there's nothing to apologize for. bye.

Love the way you edited this, Aja! 💓
I love how you put the same effort with the other stuff in your bags as with the sponsored item. ❤
thanks for noticing!
oh didn't even realized Lola was a sponsored item
Did she just say ‘iPods’ lol...AirPods you mean!
oh same thing.
I was like wow throwbackkkkk
I also carry a metal straw. No more plastic!
Hell yes for the cruelty free bag!!! And it’s super lovely of you to keep tampons in your bag to help out other ladies in need!! 💕
i don’t use tampons anymore bc i’ve concerted to a menstrual cup. soooo much less waste! 🙌🏼
I've tried the menstrual cup for 6 months but I still leak. And I can only really use it on day 1 and 2 of my period.
Aja Dang maybe try a different brand? i’ve used the sckoon and the lena cup and have never had a leakage problem. 😊

I carry that too, but since my reusable water bottle is so big I usually CARRY it, which is why It's technically not something I carry in my bag

Not unusual but I must always carry a small dental kit ( brush, paste, mouthwash, dental pick , dental mirror, and floss) because I have Invisalign.
