Addendum to my post a year ago. I think the song was written by Josh Cunningham as a tribute to his mother. And he was surely the arranger. Well done, Josh!
Reminds me so much of my daughter's busy and loving life with her 3 sons and 1 daughter, who, when she was very young said she wanted to be her mother when she grew up! This song nails it!

Some people do actually pronounce it with a hard 'G' (someone I used to work with used this pronunciation), but I agree, the normal pronunciation is with a soft 'G'.
