The Scishion AI SE is another Rk 3399 box just released. It and the Nvidia Shield are the only 2 TV boxes I know of that have an internal cooling fan. The cooling fan in the AI SE box is no joke. It works well, but can get loud enough to hear in a quiet room. This helps with the benchmarks. The AI SE and the VS RK 3399 development board (with a CPU cooling fan added) both yield higher benchmarks than the stock H96 Max. I really like the AI SE over all my other boxes.

The Real test you need to run is Kodi and running movies and TV show off of. Based on info provided I would think the T95Q would run better due to 4 Gig of Memory and Faster Download Speeds. Also with T95Q Half the Price you really have to factor that in as well.

I have a H96, Nvidia Shield & a MeCool m8. Of the three the H96 has the poorest picture Quality. The M8 is in the living room, the shield in my office & my daughter gets the H96. Who really cares about a few seconds. We buy the box for the picture quality.
Why all these tv boxes generally comes with a very basic IR remote control that doesn't even perform atleast all basic tasks required to use these box?
I think it would be a more precise test for wifi speed (2.4 + 5) if you would use a local server ethernet connected to your router and use e.g. Tamosoft Throughput Test Client/Server. Or get gigabit Internet. Also needs to be more test with different location of the device (5m, 10m 1 brick wall, etc.) in my opinion.

Any chance of you doing an update to this upload with the new s905x3 A55 cpu As the marketing information is that it has 2 X performance as the s905x2 and I'd really like to know if this is just marketing or is there any authenticity to this claim. PS don't use the new beelink mini with the s905x3 as it was badly implemented and only has 2 of the 4 cores running yet beelink still pushing it out for sale.... One is half the price of the other. T95Q wins on that alone, before even factoring in that I would never spend over $100 on one of these boxes that has crap for internal cooling. At that investment point you might as well just spend the extra and get a Nvidia Shield.
What do you think about X96 MAX 4/64GB (price 100$) , maybe this version got better rendering from H96? Is possible to connect USB hub for USB port and connect wireless mouse or keyboard?
In my H96 I had to open the box an move wifi antenna to front of box, was mounted in the center right next to the CPU heatsink, don't think it liked the heat. Now I get maximum download speeds that my IP service allows. In a test of Wifi maximum signal strength the H96 is around 440mbps and a Beelink box in the same location was 840mbps; so yes the H96 wifi antenna is a cheap weak piece of junk.
Chigz I can't decide between the T96Q and the Dolamee D9 they both have ups and downs and I can't decide which box is best. The D9 has an Octa core CPU but only 2 gbs of ram and only 16 gbs storage and DDR3. Where the T96Q has only a Quad core CPU but 4 gbs ram and 32gbs storage and DDR4. Also I love the OS interface with the D9 it reminds me of the LG TV and don't care for the one on the T95Q! I want a box that is a reasonabley priced and that will perform well for streaming Kodi and Terrarium and have no buffering. Can you help me decide?
I was also looking at the 2nd gen fire TV box because it has a very high bench mark of 70000 and I like the interface on those and they offer 1080p-4k compatibility on practically everything. So I'm actually between those three. Help me!

I have had issues in the biggining with over heating, restarting of the box, but then I found that the problem was with the power adapter. I bought a new one. Later wifi stopped working and I had no other option, and am using eternet cable instead since last one year.
I don’t think boot up speed is as important as download speeds, after 2 test there should not have been a 1-1 score. Just don’t include boot up at all. Just saying.. 😊👍🏽
Technically the octacore should perform better but I have found that the s905x2 is much faster and is combined with a very decent graphics chip the Mali G31. I definitely belive the s905x2 is better in overall performance than the S912.

I would go for the T95Q as my H96 was so bad for overheating...so for half the price I would definitely go for that one.

Specs are important but the firmware is just as important and the T95Q has better firmware than the Gt1 mini.

They are all the same box rebrabded and the dvalin is the same as the Mali G31.

Hi there, the T95Q link of AliExpress shows the RAM is 4GB DDR3 and not DDR4. Also the GPU is also showing different.
