- A video tribute to the 1990-94 relationship between Guiding Light's incomparable Roger Thorpe and Holly Lindsey, portrayed by the late Michael Zaslow and Maureen Garrett. Special thanks to bandstandmike and jezzfan for providing all of the clips. I couldn't have done it without you guys.
Thank you so very much for putting this together. I loved GUIDING LIGHT so very much [had the amazing opportunity to correspond with Michael Zaslow & see him in person at Yankee Stadium on Sept 12 1998 to benefit his ALS organization ZazAngels...though I never met MZ in person, I was floored that he responded back to me] and I loved Roger & Holly's 1989-96 run. Jenna & Mindy & Dinah were great as well, but it was MG's Holly that really worked with Roger. Miss him terribly forever.
I agree with you. MZ had some of the best leading women(Jenna, Mindy, Dinah and lets not forget Alex) working with his amazing talent, but he was best with MG! I love seeing comments from other fans ofRoger/Holly! The smile is still on my face from watching these videos!
You're welcome, and thank you. :-) With all the others, you're right, it was hard work on Roger's part to make them--and himself--think he loved them. It came so naturally with Holly because she was the one he loved all along. They were phenomenal together, and in putting together this video, I've been reminded of why I was so captivated by them from the time I first saw them together when I was a teenager in the 1990s.

When you watch all the relationships Roger had, it was hard work on his part to make them think he loved them! With Holly it was so natural, it came from his heart!
I just needed my Roger/Holly fix!! I swear through all of your Roger/Holly videos, from beginning to end and after, I have a smile is on my face! I feel happy! Thank you so much for bringing that happiness to me and thank you to MM and MG for all the many years they have entertained us.
