I was in Nashville and your store was one place I wanted to visit. It didn’t let me down!! Your people are excellent, I was met as soon as I walked in . I bought a new trigger for my G47 and they had it installed in minutes. What a great experience, thank you.
I was going to buy the old version literally tomorrow, I have a Glock 17 gen 5. I am super glad that you guys released this today. I live in Tennessee so I might just head down to Nashville in person to pick it up.
Thanks for the great laughs in this one Lenny! I thought this magwell was for the 19X and got exited, you guys should make one because nobody is making them for the 19X besides I think one company. 19X needs some magwell love.
Bought a g19 on Dec 24th and had a pyramid trigger put in also, trigger became kind of gritty and wouldn’t reset. Brought it back in this week and their gunsmith polished and fixed it on the spot. Amazing customer service at GlockStore Nashville.
I was in the Nashville store just before Christmas looking for a magwell for my G17 gen 5, was told that the new ones weren't ready yet. Glad to see they have finally been released!
When screwing into plastic threads, put a little pressure on the screw while turning in the “unscrew” direction maybe a eighth to quarter turn. It will set itself right into the threads. Then, you can tighten it.
In order not to cross thread screws, you should start by LOOSENING the screw. You will feel it fall into the threads. Sometimes you will also hear it drop. Then tighten as normal.
You guys have to make a magwell what's a Glock 19X been FDE color trying to find one out there. There's maybe one company that makes it, but it's too expensive. Can you please make one that is reasonable? To buy
I was on my way to Nashville a couple of weeks ago but could not make it. I was coming from Indianapolis. Maybe when the weather breaks, I can make the trip again. I only made it to Bowling Green, KY.
I just wish that there were EDC magwells for G30S pistols. And there are only 2 magwells for G21 and G41 pistols. Yes, I know 9mm is popular, but I am not the only one who prefers to shoot and carry 45ACP pistols.
Well the video was great but he never put the magazine back on so we can see how it fits . But is ok and I guess it will fit the 45 Gen 5 to . I have the battlefield Green two tone , those extension come in that green ?
Gen.5's already have a nice factory Well , Will it still be eazy enough to strip a mag. if it needed to be by some unusual chance that it needed to be manually stripped ? 17 , 45 ?
No, because there's not enough clearance. Also, you cannot use the included beavertail straps with the magwell. $89.95 would be better spent on ammo and practicing speed reloads, instead of buying this piece of junk.
Since this new version is specifically for the G17-5, would it also fit the G45? I’m sure the old version fits the G45, but would this one fit better due to the new design?
What's there to talk about? It's a Glock. They all share the same basic design. The 34 shoots 9mm and has a slightly longer barrel than the 17. Go to the Glock website for exact specifications.
@thomasorchard Thank you, I know its specifications well, but I want to do an experiment on the Glock 34 Gen4 regarding the red dot and how to install it.
We understand that frustration. We are currently working on implementing variable-rate shipping, but for now, we can only charge a flat rate. If you're ordering just stickers, please leave a note on your order and we will send them via USPS envelope and refund the majority of the shipping price. Thank you for your understanding and good luck!
hey! We don't make a titanium one, but we do make a tungsten one. Did you contact us about refund or replacement? Sorry you've had trouble. This is one of our most popular products and its pretty rare to have a break.
LENNY, So basically, you copied the XDM-Es magwell design. Good move! It does help the grip a LOT. Everyone else has been using glocks basic design, its about time glock started using some of theirs. Kinda sucks for printing thou for IWB carry for an EDC. For what its worth, i have a PT111G2 & its trigger was horrid. Lil garage gunsmith took the assy apart, dumped the metal parts into vibratory tumbler filled with ceramic beads & we had coffee for about 20 minutes. When he reassembeled the unit the difference was AMAZING. Its trigger Went from a V.W. bug to a Ferrarri. All the parts roughness was shot peened glass smooth & the sharp square edges were rounded off. Such a small step at the factory would make a huge difference out of the box. Prob elliminate most of that 1000 round " break in" period you spoke of. I got a G20, gen 5 mostly due to the new bbl that dosent blow up w the full power loads we use up here in Alaska. It ran great with regular practice loads but hated the full power loads & was a jamomatic which is NOT acceptable in a bear self defense unit. Its SOP up here w the gen 4s to change both the bbl for a KKM or Wolf, full case support, rifled bbl & change the recoil spring up to a 22-24 lb. The new gen 5 bbl is full case, rifled & very accurate, however its still too sloppy around the cases. Had to upgrade to a 24lb spring. I only use full power, 200 gr @ 1250 fps loads ( underwood bear bullet specs) but was still getting FTFs, dropped from 3-5 per mag to 2-3 per mag. ( gen 5 mags) changing the recoil spring. The nose was jamming up against the bottom of the feed ramp consistantly. Added 1/4 inch spacer inside the mags & lost 1 round capacity ( i can live w that) and that dropped the ftf factor down to 1-2 per mag. Slugs flat nose Still catching on the feed ramps bottom lip. Now, being thourally vexed i reshaped the feed ramp. Cut the lower edge even deeper & smoothed out the angle up to the chamber, polished it. First time i was able to run 3 full mags w only ONE missed feed where the slide failed to pick up the last round. Also bent the foreward mags metal lip out a bit on the front toward the feed ramp & polished thoes. Out of approx 6-700 rounds thats the first time & best run of all. Did have to whittle the foreward top edges plastic back to the metal thou for an easy insert. The mag catch is still just a tad low & loose not holding the mag up tight. Was having an issue with the extended plastic " bottom in the mag inside the front but shaving off the lil plastic ridge on the follower fixed that. Noticed the gen 4s mags are flush & dont catch on the followers. Since i couldnt cut the gen 5s plastic stickout i modified the followers front by eliminating thoes ridges. Hope this info helps w the gen 6 models. Lil tweaks make all the difference. Im going to scale back to a 22 lb recoil spring & see if that solves the last round pickup issue. I did order a 6 inch KKM bbl for the tighter chamber tolerances & higher velocities but it hasent arrived yet. Will keep you posted... As a sidenote thats gonna sting. I also have 5 XDM-Es & only had 1 jam on the second round on a new unit. They eat everything no problems except for the hot 230 grain & from what ive seen online no gun operates well with thoes except the G40. Go figure.. i havent seen any problems anywhere w the G40s at all other than trigger upgrades. And up here in Alaska where we run our guns hot & hard thats saying a lot!
Seems like a pointless upgrade. Gen 5 frames come from the factory slightly flared. Also, if you have a magazine malfunction and need to strip it from the magwell, you'll have less space to attempt to remove it... but it looks "cool" so thats all that matters to most people. How much is it? $50? Better off spending that money on ammo and practicing speed reloads, then you would realize you didnt need this piece of garbage in the first place.
Also, you cannot install this if you have the beavertail grip. This is a huge disadvantage for shooters who prefer the beavertail. I prefer it because it reduces the chances of slide bite.
Lenny You are one of the best! I am so glad you moved to Nashville! Your spirit is blessed by the happiness you bring to us!
Thank you!

Yes , please make a 19X mag well , Lenny 🙏🙏🙏
Huh
The magwell's fit and finish are crucial for smooth reloads, and it's great to see you keeping that in mind.

The super-soaker on the rifle rack makes my heart happy!

Ran a mag well for almost 3 years. I removed mine due to it eating away plastic on the frame.
Seems like a great idea, is it available for the 27?
Will this work with the large backstrap?
According to the GS website, no. Also it's $89.95. 😮
I wish you could find a way to ship all the Glock parts to switzerland☺️

A bomb and a bull... Exactly.. Nailed it
Wouldn’t it be a bomb in a bull?
Great accessory.
Will this work on the G47?

Do these fit 19x?
website say No they don't.
Will this work with factory back straps?
Sad part is the sweepstakes doesn't work with my wonderful crappy state of CT. 😞

DO YOU SHIP ON PHILIPPINES?

Sorry about that, we definitely do still offer a military discount. Please call in, and we will apply the discount to your order.
@@glockstore Stopped by the store and Larry got me sorted out. Super helpful, great customer service!
Will OEM mags work with this magwell
Since this new version is specifically for the G17-5, would it also fit the G45? I’m sure the old version fits the G45, but would this one fit better due to the new design?
Yes, This will work for the Glock 45 as well!

Or you could use Yukon Cornelius's wording and call them "Bumble Snowman"
South… not sure you’re there yet but you’re getting closer.
My G17 Gen 5 has 2 half moon cuts will it fill the cut in the front of the grip?
