I’m very pessimistic normally but the audio scaling and script of the outro was phenomenal. The “run” into fadeaway music into outro screen legit made it feel like a professionally funded series in which you’re waiting for the next episode. Well done
Haha thanks was trying a style of blending narration in with live gameplay and using narration to get through the boring part but give context to you guys the viewers :)
@@RyanNotBrian I certainly saw it, hide or hunts often have the constant first person that, say, the 100 days series does not. I think that external perspective worked well here, giving context to the arc while still focusing on your experience directly. I hadn’t even noticed it was to cover the slow parts, but I imagine that’s in part to editing, we don’t see the majority of them (or recognize how much time is skipped over them).
I realize I sound a bit like a tool with that last comment but just trying to say what I was thinking from the perspective of a regular viewer lol. Would just say the focus on first person (both you and jack) I think should (and did) be more heavily weighted in terms of how much of each is shown

Challenge: everytime you all hunt people, ur basically the hunters in every single game so I want you to just be a hider once and not a Hunter..

Powdered snow is so annoying, I think some people may try to avoid it, so it could work!
I wonder if you could have placed trap doors under the powdered snow which would have prevented someone from falling into your base. Or you could have put regular snow leaving only one open spot to drop down. I haven't dealt with powdered snow much. I have only collected it waiting for the 1.19 update to add it to my magma cube farm after they introduce the frogs.

Had a feeling this wasn't gonna go too well, the spot's lack of a layer of snow on it makes it really stand out. Still, I applaud you for doing what had to be done! I think this base idea could really be expanded and improved upon.

A small trick for faster ice running:
Time your jumps, if you get back to the ground you need to immediately jump, holding the jump button will only give it a small frame where you're not jumping from the ground slowing you down.
As long as you keep this going, you can also run on non-ice blocks and keep the momentum. It is a long-run thing, when you halt once, you lose all momentum.
great idea, you should do it again but preferably not in area where people run over it all of the time. :D

Love a Hide or Hunt vid and the powdered snow base is a really cool idea. Hopefully it can be a winning base in the future. 😊
The powdered snow base was very good but it was bound to be found sooner or later. It did have potential though. I love how I can recognise a lot of the players because they were in the zombie series. Zio and Chazza are a very funny duo because Zio tried to pretend to be a friend in the zombie series while Chazza was a loyal friend who died before Jack and his team got across the bridge. Hunting them down was probably a breeze for Jack and Ryan because Ryan is the best at base finding while Jack is probably the best PvPer. I have to admit, I’m disappointed that we didn’t get to see what happened after they killed Chazza and Zio and were being chased. He usually shows what happens after they are knocked out.

Just let you know to get out of the base you could have just Warren the leather boots and held jump and you would float up through the powdered snow

Personal opinion, but I like the interaction between you and your teammate better than narrating what you and your partner do. Hope that makes sense.
