I found it weird the Saudi anthem was played...but not in a nationalisitc way or anti sports washing way. Just it was suprising and i did predict some backlash. But it is a part of Riyad Season...ot is paid for by them and its their event and they played both anthems, the saudi and the british one. I think its fine overall. Nobody complains before a sports match when both anthems are played.

Saudi is paying for the fights, so it’s only fair to take place there for their people. Fight fans want the atmosphere but moan if the Saudi National Anthem plays their National Anthem for 2 mins. I found it weird the Saudi anthem was played...but not in a nationalisitc way or anti sports washing way. Just it was suprising and i did predict some backlash. But it is a part of Riyad Season...ot is paid for by them and its their event and they played both anthems, the saudi and the british one. I think its fine overall. Nobody complains before a sports match when both anthems are played.
