I saw that theory about Thomas and Alastair before. So heartbreaking but the way I heard it is that Alastair is the one dying in Thomas’s arms and then Thomas goes to the scholomance and writes the “I did not choose this life. 1904” 😭
I’ve also seen that the theory with 1904 could apply to Jesse. Chain of iron is set in 1903 december, so in the next book it will be 1904 in chain of thorns. If Jesse gets resurrected successfully at the end of book, the clave won’t know what to do with him, so they might sent him to the scholomance “I did not choose this life”- Jesse didn’t choose to be brought back. Also it would be a nice parallel since Livvy, who’s also a blackthorn brought back by dark magic, found it.
For your mark stripping theory, it very well could be lucie because if she brings back Jesse then that would makes sense and I mean lucie doesn’t really get mentioned at all in the books that take place in the future, so maybe it’s a possibility. It’s breaking my heart thinking about it though.
I'm currently going through a re-read of COG and forgot how much I LOVED it. My COI book is coming to me by post two weeks late cause of the pandemic. but I'm willing to wait. :)
I literally had so much hard feelings towards grace "no spoilers" But while reading I find out that grace was not that bad she herself was suppressed by one
I just finished reading this book im am done, the pain is real. I can't wait for your review and your opinions, I'm so shook my heart is broken and shattered 😭💔
One theory i have is that in Chain of Iron James and Cordelia are going to hate each other, (even though they both love each other ofc). THERE GOING TO BE ENEMIES TO LOVERS!! Cassandra Clare said in a video to expect enemies to lovers in Chain of Iron and the emojis she put about their relationship, the mad emoji. Idk, James could be super rude to Cordelia because of the bracelet or one of them get possessed.
In 1903 a permanent portal, unregulated by the clave, that leads only to the Cornwall Institute was secretly built in the london institute - I think Grace, Lucie and Christopher(being an extraordinary scientist) created it with Lucie's power or by the help of a warlock(most likely Malcolm fade since he grew up there with Annabel). But why would Malcolm help them if he doesn't know about Annabel's being buried yet?. Well I think since Tatiana is in the Adament citadel(iron sister residence) and she knows a lot about the blackthorn family secrets would tell him. Or I just firmly believe that Malcolm is gonna find out about her in this book-especially now that Cassie is making art and answering questions about him, which would entail his importance in this book. This is mostly theories about the necromancy storyline because I’m the biggest Jesse and Lucie shipper and want Jesse to be resurrected.
Also Jesse HAS to be resurrected. Blackthorns must be descended from Jesse due to the mere fact that spoilers for TDA . . . . . . . . Malcolm needed blackthorn blood to resurrect Annabel and he succeseded by killing, and therefore using, Arthur Blackthorn's blood. Both Tatiana and Grace don't have blackthorn blood in them, so therefore Jesse is guaranteed to be the one who continues the blackthorn line or else it's a major plothole.
Maybe Malcolm did found out about Annabel and he’s starts planning about a way to bring her back so the portal is the first thing he does in order to get his revenge and Annabel back
while watching the beginning of this video i got a notif that cassie answered an ask on tumblr😂(something related to gotsm) I do think someone is going to get their marks stripped because in tda magnus said that someone had burn down the blackthorn manor beforehand and it came true in chog
Hmmm well with school it takes me longer. I just try to read when I have extra time. Times when I usually would go on my phone, or scroll through the internet, I instead pick up my book and read!
Tell me your theories!!! Lets discuss!
I feel like the dying in your arms thing could be Matthew n James aswell god I’m so scared
I saw that theory about Thomas and Alastair before. So heartbreaking but the way I heard it is that Alastair is the one dying in Thomas’s arms and then Thomas goes to the scholomance and writes the “I did not choose this life. 1904” 😭
The theory can go either way and it’s still so heartbreaking😭😰

What? That’s is so heartbreaking I’m not ready for chain of iron
Which chapter exactly in Gost of shadow market??
What if lucie and grace take advantage that there’s a killer on the loose to murder all that people they need in order to the necromancy to work? Omg
Ohhhhh thats a good one! Wonder if Grace and Lucie will become friends in the process?
For your mark stripping theory, it very well could be lucie because if she brings back Jesse then that would makes sense and I mean lucie doesn’t really get mentioned at all in the books that take place in the future, so maybe it’s a possibility. It’s breaking my heart thinking about it though.
"Cordelia, come one--like, why are you sworning oaths to a mysterious power . . ."

I pre-ordered COI 2 months ago and got an email saying I won’t get it until the 23rd??😭 anyone else??

That's the main reason why I didn't pre-ordered it, instead I'll go and buy it in the book store
@@antoniachung5940 the reason i preordered it is because I wanted the collectors first edition.
@@kirayuu1694 if i'm not wrong, you can still get it from the book store. Last year I did the same and I got the collectors edition
@@antoniachung5940 Thank you, for the heads up but unfortunately for me where I'm from their isn't a book store open in my area to covid regulations.
