So maybe you have started to notice but there are only a limited amount of resource nodes on the map including stone and gold, and if you click on the places with a lot of stone/gold you can upgrade it to make a quarry to increase the amount of resources, it costs 5 ore/gold bars respectively. Same goes with food.
you can actually get more gold and stone through geologist and the mines, see that enormous huge pile of rock and gold you can click it to turn it into a mine
How does metal arrow work? I understand it as adding an arrow shot to the snipers barrage but it doesn't o.o
@@echiko4932 it increases number of hits, so it affects the runemage by increasing the number of chains it has. At least that's how I understand it. It affects attacks that say hit X number of units.

@@echiko4932 i think its piercing from what i experienced in obtaining it, i noticed it during the fight with the crossbowman it pierces 1 enemy

Crossbowman skill was +20 shield to the unit above him.
So you also get your x2 or x3 shield from the knight skill multiplying that. Also scales with the number of stars the crossbowman has. I think its 10 per star and 10 by default
Also you can click on the castle to build walls/gate and towers to put units on as well. Also build stone mine on pile of rocks to get more stone. There are red "X" marks on the map where you can sometimes find free resources or monsters that you can provoke to attack you to earn even more coins usually appear after 4th wave i think. Hope this helps!
The wall gives a big boost to the health and damage of your units. 10 stone cost.
@Sifd Walls make a huge difference, you buy them for 10 stone at the castle. It says it increases all units stats, I don't know the effect on damage other than it was more but HP seemed to be doubled. Also ignoring the wheat entirely and going for hunting seems to be the play the more exp helps. I was able to beat the demo with soldier and bowman from the map and deathpriest from the hermit. No extra units or siege engines.
Zamn u won with the death priest? I can only manage it with rune wizard whatsit. Ended a run with 470 coins, so upset it didn't reach 500 for the worker xD
Guess we need the extra enemies meta progress, seems to be 1 glory/10 kills

As some mentioned you have limited resources and to get more you have to use geologist that is an upgrade of gold mine and upgrade the big stone and gold rubbles to produce them passively after connecting them via road which is another upgrade and placing their building close to those nodes and planning base around that seems like a smart strat
Wood and wheat also can be reproduced but all of the resource building upgrades use 1 person which is represented by the star and you can right click to dismiss the upgraded worker
Also most likely depends on the build but to me it seems that runemaster and necromancer and the strongest units, djin is the weakest and rest is just decent
Last thing is that upgrading walls gives good boost to the stats and opens you to options for more units on the "board" which is super strong if you try to get gold bars for second random unit and wheat for monk

sifd you can also get more unit slots if you buy a wll you do that from the cstle and then buy a gate or towers

just so you know the stone structor on the left is a stone mine that they can do (there is a gold one too) its also in a random position everytime you should get it

You can clisc the big rock/gold pile in your base to build a mine.

So my bro showed me a run on vampire survirors. The new guy with the eskiber counts as retaliatory dmg. So get the card.that guves him health per dmg with it. His might also goes up with hp seen over 10k hp and like 30k might or something

Hey sifid you can move thunits mid fight to protect weak units. The support is amazing if you unlock the next star lvl she summons hordes of undead.
no food or gold cuz u ran out of resources on the map you need to either upgrade the houses or get more meta prog

This game is pretty interesting, I only played it a little, but it feels the game needs a bit more depth.
I got the wall and the gate-tower thingy. let me field another unit. and then it crashed :(
Can also field more units with taven upgrades :3
Though the gate suffices tbh
Maybe when the game gets updated to be longer, more units will be better
I am a bit confused why developer not decided to sell it right now, while the hype is here and stuff (in a form of early access) and gave us a demo to play with. Its a great game, but I fear that it will hit the sales.
