    I love this way of learning! These videos are great. I have 2 questions though:
    1. Should I try to repeat the new words with my own voice, or just listen?
    2. I love the natural style of learning, but some of these words seem kind of low-frequency, so I wanted to make flash cards with spaced repetition (like Anki) to remember them. But I know Chinese children don’t use flashcards to learn Chinese. Since I don’t think I will hear the word “toenail” very often, I will probably forget it after a few days if I don’t have a flashcard… what do you recommend, to remember these less frequent words?

      1.You're on lesson 5. Don't repeat it. After Lesson 21, I will ask those who have completed a the Mission1000 to start repeating and provide specific requirements.(The Mission 1000 begins in Lesson 7).
      2.Don't use flash cards. You don't need to memorize every word. I teach certain words not so you can memorize him, but to help you make an inner connection to Chinese. Some words appear infrequently so you can't remember them, so let them be forgotten naturally. But forgetting and not learning are completely different. What you've learned will be connected to what you'll learn at some point in the future. What is forgotten will be recalled.

    中文很难因为他们说话时间常常缩写的, 比如:“不知道”,他们说“不知”而已, 等等

    • @chinesewei
      @chinesewei  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      并不是缩写,很早以前,几百年前,我们就说“不知”,后面习惯改变了,才说“不知道”,先有了“知”,然后才有“知道”,不是从“知道”缩写到“知”,古时候中文主要用一个字的词,我们叫单字词,近两百年开始才习惯用两个字的词。中文每个字都有完整的意思。就像“衣服”,衣=服=衣服,一个字就已经有完整的意思了。不需要把两个字放在一起。中文是由汉字构成的,不是由词语构成的,这是中文最特别的地方。理解到这一点,你就会感觉没那么难了。我做了个视频列表,ChineseBlocks,看这个视频能帮助你理解字和词的关系:th-cam.com/play/PLVm_2mAUtlPHgudayh0LA0zuYMt9zheMX.html
