- The 2024 LA County Fair at Fairplex in Pomona celebrates the medley of communities that comprise Los Angeles County with its theme Stars, Stripes & Fun.
LA County is one of the most diverse counties in the nation, brimming with a mix of cultures and communities, and the LA County Fair celebrates them all! Through song and dance, awe-inspiring exhibits and the enticing aroma of everything from corn dogs to turkey legs, tacos to red beans and rice, plantains to funnel cake, the Fair honors LA County with Stars, Stripes & Fun.
The 16-day event opens May 3. Don’t miss new attractions, the thrills of the carnival, musical entertainment in every corner of the fairgrounds and, of course, lots and lots of food.

It was a fun and really busy day! Thank you for letting me tag along with you Saturday! 😀
Good seeing you! Thanks for helping with the cheese curds! (and the blood pressure check) LOL
very cool
Very informative vid sir. Thank you for the updates and info. Great seeing and hanging out with you yesterday
Good seeing you and Evil Baby!
I missed going to the LA County Fair. Usually I would go there and get about 30 Turkey legs to take home. Would throw them to the 2nd freezer we have and eat 2-3 of them occasionally and finish the last ones just before Christmas.
Planning to go there later this month with the family again. Kids are too grown up and not interested in the rides much. Would be nice to walk around and finally taste some wine and then get like a dozen Turkey legs.
The wine tasting inside the Marketplace is a lot of fun. We did that last year. Plan on doing it again this month on another visit!
Good,valuable info.!..like always 👍👍!
Thank you! We always enjoy visiting the fair and sharing the best things to do when visiting.
Wonderful!
Thanks for watching!
Great review thank you 🙏🏼
Thanks for watching!
I love the trains. Big and small.
Both the Rail Giants and the Fairplex Garden Railroad are must-visit attractions while at the Fair.
LA Forever ❤🌈🏳️🌈💙🌴☀️
Happy weekend
Thanks for watching!
I haven't gone to the fair since I was a teen. I'm 40 now and have been avoiding it b/c of crowds, high prices, and overall disinterest. However, your video has offered a unique perspective, one that has peaked my interest. Well done. (Your preview food video brought me here)
Thank you for watching and I am glad you enjoyed my visit and food preview. There is so much to see and do that you could spend all day looking at the exhibits, shows, and animals. The Fair offers various discounts for admission and as I mentioned, every food booth has a Value Menu item/combo. For example; Tasti Burger has a Burger, Fry, and Coke combo for $9.50. You could do a combo meal, have a Rootbeer Float later on in the day, and stop for a Popcorn and Soda... all for under $30. Admission is free on Thursdays with canned food donations. Also, to avoid large crowds, if you can visit on a Thursday or Friday, and/or during the day, you'll find crowds quite manageable. Have fun if you visit!
how? this video made the fair look boring as fuck, super expensive. U got excited by watching chickens race? by paying 9 dollars for a root beer float. The fuck u talking about? Unless u are thefunnelcakeblog on another youtube account, your comment makes absolutely zero sense. Please prove me wrong
i HOPE you show more of the vendors in your next video. Thank You!!!
We actually have several friends who are vendors at the Fair. It's just too much to cover in one video. We will make a few more visits before the end of the month.
Gad so much fun on the 17th. IM LOOKING FOR THE BLACKSMITH SHE WAS SO FUN. I LOVE HER. I thonk her name was Pam..or Donna
Skate R Cade looks fun.
We went back Saturday and it was VERY busy and appeared to VERY popular. It's free too! You just leave your shoes and they give you a claim ticket when you return the skates.
I was honestly very disappointed that the haunt show did *NOT have the mazes as they did the year before. The O.C. Fair does not have any Halloween at all, so the maze at the L.A. County fair made it very unique to me. Glad I got to attend opening night aswell!!
I missed the Haunt Hall in Expo 9 as well. The vendors moved to another Hall for this year. I went back on Saturday and the Roller Skating seemed to be VERY popular, as was the arcade. On a side note, Fairplex had a Halloween event last year called LIGHTS OUT. It was really fun. It will be returning this Fall!
Great video! Some audio issues at the very end, mate! Cheers!
Thank you! Was the audio issue you're talking about in the closing segment after the rides? The background audio was the "Welcome" recording playing at the gate. It was on a loop and didn't stop. That location was the best lit in the parking lot to do the wrap up. The midway was just too loud to do it. Further into the lot was too dark for the phone, as I didn't bring the actual camera.
Are the $50 wrist bands for games too?
So it’s admission $25 /$20 parking plus $50 of ride tickets?
Wow can't wait to go, do they have senior tickets, I want to go for the food and get on some rides 😁,
Yes! All of the Fair discounts can be found here....

Buy online for best savings! Select Senior Discount Admission when purchasing single-day admission online for $12 admission.
Senior admission is $15 if purchased at the gate.
Cannot be combined with other offers.
Also...

@@theFUNnelCakeBlog thanks so much 👍
I felt so sad for the Clydesdale horses. The poor babies were stuck in those tiny stalls right next to the carnival rides and games having to listen to the loud music all day and night. They looked so miserable. I was in that area for a short time and I was already getting a headache from the loud boom boom boom from the music that was playing. I could only imagine how they felt being stuck there like that. The fair should really organize where they place them better and put them in a more peaceful location next to the other farm animals. 😞
Me too! Couldn't believe how small the enclosures were
Hey do you know if they still have the cow milking show I haven’t been to the LA county in such a long time, but I remember a few years ago they used have some type of attraction with cows also what is the esports arena is that for anyone to try
Yes they do! The daily schedule is posted to the Fair's home page. A daily schedule is also handed out at the front gate as you enter. Yesterday, it was at 130, 330, 530 and 7 in the Cattle Barn. Those time could change though.
@@theFUNnelCakeBlog ok that’s awesome also what type of payment methods do most of the food vendors take is it strictly only Card or do they also expect Regular Cash there
how many tickets does an average ride cost? I’m going soon and don’t know how many to buy
Kid rides are 3-5, Thrill rides 5-6. The super extreme rides are 9, but there are only a few. There's a full list on the RCS website rcsfun.com/ Select LA County Fair, then click WHAT DOES IT COST. Full list of rides and tickets. The fair also offers an unlimited wristband. Details are on the Fair site.
What’s that song at the end of your video
Title is Latin Sky by RA.
What happened to having the fair summer ?
The decision was made after COVID to move the Fair earlier in the year responding to guest comments that it was too hot in the Fall. The last few years, the weather has been perfect and much more enjoyable.
Try food but nothing too crazy and maybe rides but not crazy ir crafts totally crafts. Honestly i probably on been to fair one time. I am only a Disneyland person lol.

Make sure to pick up an event schedule when you visit. There are numerous shows and presentations. There is so much to see and do! Have fun!
Just read in the local newspaper that the fair will have “thoughtful Thursday, for guest with sensory processing challenges” Dimming lights and reducing noises for these people. OMG why are these people there if this is an issue with them. I can’t believe there is more than 1% of anyone that would want go there with this problem. Call me insensitive but sometimes things are not for all the people.
Because with accommodations such as the ones being offered, it gives those with auditory processing issues tools to better cope and manage, thus giving them a better chance to enjoy the fair. Autism rates, in case you haven't heard, are now 1:36.
I applaud the Fair for making the experience accessible to all guests.
It sucks same crap every year .. expensive food . 20 for a burger and fries . Exhibits are all the same company’s mattress firm in every building stay away from cold press gel thing . They put them on peoples faces and hands and don’t wash them .. Nothing new . The margaritas you get more ice then actual drink . The stroller people are even crazier. Rolling four deep spread out . Can’t get around them …. The food is overpriced and you’ll definitely throw up… all the rides spin all the games are rigged and don’t go to candy depot don’t waste your money just go to Walmart for candy .. . Animals look sad and skinny . The Budweiser are Albanian horses not Clydesdales.. they shrunk .
