5:01 sir there is difference between in culture and national anthem. We cannot compare national anthem with culture practices . Because national anthem not for any particular community its for whole nation , this song is a sign of unity
nothing shows unity like beating a fellow citizen because he didnt stand up for a national anthem.
@@YGLAW sir u are senior and more knowledgeable campared to me but u should to understand that National anthem is not a debatable topic it is duty of every citizen to respect our national anthem . I don't think if any person have patriotic feeling or faith toward his nation then they say arre hmto desh ke sewa karte h no need to stand up or to show his respect toward national anthem . The main sign of citizens if he have patriotic feelings toward his nation then they always respect his country by anyway or by doing anything ya to national anthem me stand up kyu na hona ho. Hope u are getting my point:)
@riya Mishra It is not an actual duty because that is an arbitrary thing you made up, the law is silent on this, showing disrespect is what is not allowed, nowhere it says that sitting during a national anthem is disrespectful and when you encourage this fake pretentious patriotism then stupid things happen, like that rule of playing national anthem before every movie in every theater in India, what if i am watching an 18+ adult rated sexual cheap movie, like one time i went to watch 'befikre' , there were 23 kissing scenes in that movie, it was a cheap time pass comedy movie, what was the point of playing our national anthem and making everyone stand up in a theatre where everyone came to watch a cheap sex comedy? was it Honorable for our nation that that the national anthem was played before such a movie?
You love your parents right, just like you love your nation, we all do, but would you like to think about your love for your mother/father just before having sex with your partner, there is a time and place for every emotion, you cant shove patriotism on someone forcefully. This is an absurd example but i guess it was needed to make my point.
The govt also realized that it was stupid to make that a mandatory practice so they made it optional, and you can see now that it is not played in theaters anymore, and i am glad it isn't.
There has to be a line and that line is called THE LAW, when they will make it mandatory to stand up and sing the national anthem in law then i will surely do that but until then its very simple, if you want to stand up and sing, good, stand up and sing but dont shove your OPINIONS on everyone else.
A person might not stand for any xyz reason which you dont know and maybe he did way more for the country than you but somehow you judge that he isnt patriotic and you are because he didnt stand and you did? honestly thats judgemental and pretentious on your part

I just simply want to say that saare log ko ek respect Dena chahiye arbitrary work nahi karna chahiye ki jab mn karega tab stand honge hum that's the my main point sir , hope u finally getting my point. :)
@@riyaMishra-fr1dc i still stand my ground, you as a citizen dont have the right to moral police other citizens by telling them ki unko kya karna chahiye. who will judge that the other person has valid reason or not, what if the reason is valid to him but invalid according to you, it is a slippery slope, as a law student you should know where to draw an exact line, you cant mix your opinions and morals with law. Tomorrow youll say ladkiyo ko kapde decent pehen ne chahiye, who will define decent, are jeans decent, or only saari is decent, are shorts decent or are they not, Youll say apne elders ki respect karni chahiye, what is respect ? if i am 30 years old and a 42 year old is standing in a bus and i am sitting, is it disrespectful to not offer my seat to them? would the situation change if the person is 62? at what age exactly my not offering the seat becomes disrespectful ?
Same is the case of patriotism, if the law says it is disrespectful, then it is, but right now the law is silent and so we should also be silent on the issue.
And if you feel so much about the issue, then instead of telling people kya karna chahiye aur kya nahi karna chahiye, draft a petition and file a PIL to make a law which says standing up is mandatory and also ask to draft grounds when a person can sit, that would be the correct thing to do, until you do that you are just a keyboard warrior and keyboard warriors have zero contribution to the nation.
