Let’s pump the brakes on Alex Sarr. The book on him said he was a work in progress and was going to need time. We are not going to win next season but let’s hope he gets developmental teaching he needs to become a solid 4.
What happed to the idea of JV being a mentor for Sarr to help him develop and train as he adds weight muscle? The wiz should hire 50 year old men if they want to lose 82 games……many are saying JV is not good enough anymore to get a high #1 .
Man, there are some future stars in this upcoming draft. Players fans are gonna want to come & see. We just need to hit on one. To get a top 2 pick again would lift the "toxic" from this team.
Don’t shoot the messenger, but next year’s draft is already scripted. The only thing to be decided is the exact order of 1-3. Nets, Jazz, and Spurs. Not saying that other teams won’t get great players, but teams like Wizards, Blazers, Pistons, and Hawks only seem to get top picks in crappy drafts or when it seems assured that they’ll pick players with grenades attached to important limbs. Prediction: Nets get Flagg, Jazz somehow wind up with Bailey. Spurs get #3.
Wiz will be a bottom 2 team....where winning a game will be breaking news. They will be sellers..JV,KK and prob CK. Wiz need to play and develop the youngsters! Nets and Wiz will be in a major race to the bottom!
Thanks for the podcast, Brandon. With the lottery, I won't even sell myself on the idea that we would get the number 1 pick to select Cooper Flagg. But I do have a question: who do you think the Wiz would prefer to draft in a year with Flagg, Bailey, Edcomb, and Harper, considering what we know about Dawkins?
I like them all But I Would put Harper Traore then Edcomb in that order in a special 1B tier were Flagg and Bailey I have in a 1A tier so personally all great but I want 1-2 for those 1A’s
@@Brandon_7Scott Yeah, no problem. I'm in RVA, it'd be nice to have some confidence in the Wizards but building through the draft is really hard, especially when there seems to be an aura around the franchise itself as being toxic. You see how the Suns are attracting stars with Book, or Philly with Embiid, and now the Knicks with Brunson. Not sure if I see anyone on the Wizards right now who can get to that level soon enough, but you have to start somewhere right?
Eh, Sarr is 25 lbs of muscle from being a 5 (and maybe 10 lbs to be a 4).. JV can stay for a season, he'll be essentially an expiring the year after (3rd year is non guaranteed). The key is to find teams who are going to be second apron teams and unload some of the expiring s (Brogdon, Bagley, Holmes) and Kuzma and Kispert for picks. Look at Wiggins in GS. See if Chicago wants to trade the ghost of Lonzo Ball and a protected first for Brogdon .

Wouldnt be bad there’s a couple of teams that can use a center like Memphis lakers Celtics etc etc load up on picks

What are the Wizards doing smh, who do they want to play here geesh smh
This is just the start of the rebuild
I don't think he's going anywhere Yet I think front office trying to see how well he plays until trade deadline if successful think he stays

I agree Bailey or Flagg is a win.
@@baltimoregetup9537 I’d say id like Nolan traore as well but at that point we’d have to rebrand to the Paris wizards
@@baltimoregetup9537 Bailey is not even the best consolation prize, and he is nowhere near as good as Flagg.
Trade Kyle Kuzma, Malcolm Brogdon and Johnny Davis to Utah Jazz for John Collins, Jordan Clarkson and Cody Williams.
If we get 1st or 2nd pick we win it doesn’t have to be number 1 I feel.
I have no idea why you think that.

Don't scare me too much man😅
That tinfoil hat looks good on you!
I believe the draft is rigged. Why not pull the lottery balls live so everyone can see? #Transparency
The eye test, tells us he will be the biggest bust than Kwame Brown. Hope I’m wrong.
If we get Cooper Flagg we waive Sarr and pretend it never happened
Lol damn

Love your show and am a subscriber. But I'm 75 now and need to learn how to listen 'faster'. I'm trying. 🤣
If it’s too fast for you, changing the playback speed is always an option
Don't see Jonas getting a first. Maybe seconds.
Johnny Davis needs a max extension
funny
YEAH in the G league

What kind of return would he get at this point? His rebounding dipped significantly last season as did his scoring touch, and he's 32 years old.
Could probably get a late 1st Round Pick.
@@Brandon_7Scott After what Derozan left for, feel like Jonas would only get you a second or two.
That's true too but i don't mind 2nd round picks. They're starting to carry more significance and we could use them for leverage. Thanks for watching.
