    Absolutely love this sport! Im a harley enthusiast but damn i enjoy watching ohara as well. Wyman set that up on lap 2 to see how he would react. Stayed patient and rode it home. That indian is getting dialed in tho. Normally all over the place entering and exiting turns. Very cool to see wyman acknowledge his fans.

    What an awesome move. And that elbow in the dust scaring Tyler back a bit.
    Once Kyle got a head, DAMN he expanded that gap QUICK.

    • @raynic1173
      @raynic1173 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      FYI, it was his knee in the dust, not his elbow and it wasn't intentional.....but yes great racing....

    • @UnrulyRider
      @UnrulyRider ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, too bad they limited the Indian machines both in revs and in removing material from the crankshaft. Otherwise it would be a different story, like years past. When Harley can't win, they lobby for rule changes to give them the advantage. Typical spoiled brats gotta get their way... sad really.

    • @raynic1173
      @raynic1173 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      16:18, it was his knee....also, something to think about, AKA critical thinking. These bikes do not have racing style 'clip-on" handle bars. Their mount is above the triple tree, which places the hands and arms much higher than normal race bikes. If you can catch a pause at any apex like 15:56 (paused) when the rider has a knee on the ground the elbow will be at least 9-10 inches above the pavement. It's just an ergonomics thing.....

    • @raynic1173
      @raynic1173 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Bruh, I believe the Indian is water cooled, so there has to some concessions. Every racing org. all the way down thru the amateur racing ranks makes these distinctions and has balancing techno.....oh, and p.s. the Indian also has a four valve per cylinder heads....and then there's the acknowledgement that this is an entertainment industry. No one wants to see one manufacturer run away with everything....that gets boring and doesn't sell tickets. You need rivalry, tension and something to bitch about, lol.

    • @UnrulyRider
      @UnrulyRider ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They lobbied MotoAmerica to have Indian restricted in rpm to 7700 instead of the 8k rpm they used to rev to. And they also no longer allow Indian to remove weight from their crankshafts. When they can't win a race fair, they get the rules changed in their favor. This is nothing new for HD, they used the same tactic through the 60's and 70's. Also, HD broke the MotoAmerica rules by adding liquid-cooled heads to their factory team race bikes.

    • @fogit4668
      @fogit4668 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@UnrulyRider Imagine that. This is how you end up ruining a new racing series. Make rules to favor one brand over the other. Even up the engine sizes. A 17% advantage in Cubic Inch to HDs favor is totally unfair with HD using liquid cooled heads. I guess this is another racing series I will stop watching. No point when you know the cards are stacked against one brand (Indian). If MotoAmerica wanted to make it fair and a GOOD racing series they would Allow HD to have no more than 117 ci with water cooled heads and then allow Indian to match the cubic inches. Both should be able to take weigh off of their crankshafts and have no rev limitations. All naturally aspirated. Let the best design win and then the customers end up getting better bikes in the end. All this from a guy that owns a HD for 17 years. This kind of stuff convinces me more to buy an Indian the next time. HD is a bunch of winey under producing cry baby engineers.

Harley-Davidson also decided to break the MotoAmerica rules and add their liquid-cooled heads to their factory race team bikes, even though they already have a displacement advantage over Indian.
