Yes, I can see Dorne wanting to get involved because they’ll be like: Wait a minute, we had no justice for Elia and her children being murdered but the Starks got to takedown the Lannisters!? Nope. Sorry, but we want in.”
I don't think that's the case, but I can't argue too hard against it. When he saved Sansa from pushing Joffrey, he seemed to already have soft feelings inside of him. I think that could've manifested another way over the (new) story arc.
TheBattProductions I’m not really a SanSan fan but I do think that Sandor needed Sansa and to see they way she was treated by the Lannister as a catalyst to leave them. Think about it he had been with them since he was about 10/11 yrs old and he’s 30 in the books anywhere between 40-50 in the show. If he didnt like them why did it take so long to leave. They’ve probably hurt many children/innocent people in the time he was there but it was specifically Sansa which seems to cause him to change and leave aswell as the help of the wildfire. Just something to think about I suppose
Randy Leigh completely agree. I saw a interview with Rory McCann who plays the Hound and he was asked about their relationship, and he basically gave your answer. One bullied kid looking after the other, doesn’t have to be all the love/romance stuff
I don't think Robb would of taken the iron throne and if he did, he probably would of bent the knee to danny and become warden of the North, He never wanted the throne and that would be a perfect opportunity to give it up. It would also show that history repeats itself as there was a North Stark king who bent the knee to save his people. Robb would also become the second stark king that would be remembered as the King who Knelt.
I could see that but I also see a better solution for all sides: Robb and Dany come to terms that: 1 - they join forces to fight against the white walkers 2 - if they win Robb will voluntarily give up the iron throne and dominion over 6 kingdoms with the caveat that the north will remain an independent kingdom. Who knows if she would accept it but it certainly seems to be ideal for both sides, especially with both armies being weakened heavily against the walkers. Also, she’s not the only one with magic on her side as the North would have Bran who can see everything in the past and future and is also the most powerful warg ever - possibly even able to take over one of the dragons. And presumably, Jon would remain in the north with his family and if Dany ever threatened them they could reveal his true identity to all of Westeros that he is the one true heir.
If Rob and Dany got along, perhaps Rob proposes he and Deaneries take the throne together. She does need heirs. He could legitimize Jon as his heir and even if they found that Jon could claim a dragon, Dany would already be married to his “brother” and the one who legitimized him. Jon becomes the Winter King. He gets to rule The North. Jon takes Sansa to wife. And during the white invasions, Jon takes a dragon, Dany has a dragon, and Gendry takes a dragon. All three have Targaryen ancestors. It’s a possibility.
@@PennTwinsVlogs Thanks! It definitely would’ve broken the wheel because all 3 players would be fighting like the original 3 heads of the dragon. Stark and Targeryon made a pack of marriage between Jace’s first son and Cragian’s first daughter. Some say he married a bastard sister of Cragian. Anyways, Jace died, so the North never received the “Prince” that was promised until Jon Snow. What does Jon Snow do? He marries the Lady of Winterfield, Sansa Stark. We can even give him his true name, Aegon Targeryon. However, Jon is fiercely Northern in his heart and belongs in the North. Rob has enjoyed his time in the Summer Kingdom. He also enjoys Dany’s strength, kindness, and fire. Jon appreciates Sansa’s beauty, her strong moral heart, her devotion to her people, and how she inspires them to never give up. Jon loves a She Wolf. Well Gentry is on Storms End, and although Arya can’t be his lady, let’s pretend that either Margery somehow survived and married Gendry. Now Arya and a Donnish prince. Samuel’s sister married Sweet Robin from the Vail. Now that would have been interesting to see in the end. The children who were born are the ones who break the cycle and reform the kingdom. I know it’s fantasy, but it could’ve changed Westeros.
I don’t think Varys would help Dany for 2 main reasons: 1) Dany originally wanted Varys executed because of his hand in sending assassins to her for years. The only reason he wasn’t in the show was because Tyrion, who died in this scenario, was the buffer between the two. 2) the only reason Varys wanted to restore the Targaryen Dynasty was because it was a much better option than the Lannisters post-Tywin death. He only went on the ship to Essos with Tyrion after he heard the Bells ring for Tywin’s death. Varys’s main goal isn’t a Targaryen Restoration like Dorne, but for peace. All he’s ever wanted was peace and prosperity for the little people of Westeros and Robb Stark would bring lots of stability to the realm so I don’t see a reason for him to defect to Dany’s side.
@@TheBattProductions this is all so true, and great job w the robb v jaime fight, & tywin's fate. i just wish tyrion wouldnt have to die and robb/ catelyn/ etc could see his side. basically i think they'd be more willing to listen than his own family was, and he could have got them to listen to reason and make himself useful to pretty much anyone in charge, be it, the starks or dany (/young griff, varys, etc, haha). i also wish jaime could have lasted longer to see his redemption and we could maybe even see a prisoner cercei where she has no power but has tyrion (/jaime 😥) for an ear, having lost joffrey and sansa but not tommen or myrcella. but jaime. in her defense. and for their father, after everything 💔 there are a million ways it could go, like if robb chose to fight jaime and that ended up being robbs downfall in a legendary wolf v lion stand off instead of a red wedding, but oberyn fought tywin & won instead? idk. im not sure the viper would last long with the lion after it bites its head. with the lion wounded and dying, the imp would have to rule for a time as hand/ king regent & Warden of the West of Lannisport, with Kevan's help, until the dragon arrives and eventually partner with tyrion & the night's watch against the others, etc etc.. haha
What if Oberyn was placed on the small council earlier? Like before Ned arrived in Kings Landing. I do believe Arya and Sansa's time in Kings Landing would be much easier with Arya possibly being whisked away to Dorne for safety during the coup and Sansa having someone to talk to and confide in with Oberyn and Ellaria.
@@TheBattProductions joffrey might not have got hands on her. at least not in kings landing. she still would have lost lady on the kingsroad :,( i dont thing oberyn would have traveled north to winterfell.
Oberyn wouldn’t be so open to befriend the Starks. Rhaegar spurned Oberyns sister for Lyanna, which led to her brutal death in the sack of Kings Landing.
Ned waited with Robert while he was injured which lost time in the race to King’s Landing with Tywin. Robert would likely be there first and there would be no way Aerys lets him in the city like he did with Tywin. They spend time trying to siege the city until the Lannister army shows up. They either fight on the border of the city against each other or somehow make a stand together against the Targaryens. If that happens I think there would be no hesitation for the pyromancer to start the wildfire. I don’t think Jamie would have time to kill the king and the pyromancer so he kills the latter. Robert walks in and sees Aerys yelling with Jamie restraining him. Robert either sees this as dishonorable or he goes “well done lad, thanks for saving him for me”. And swings his hammer down onto Aerys. Maybe he appoints Jamie back to heir of Casterly Rock instead of Kingsguard as he did a great deed.
@@dandyman204 did tywin survive? he wouldnt allow jaime to rule the west while he lived. unless thats what it took to release him of his kingsguard oaths, whille tywin becomes Hand. which jaime could refuse, and robert could still want Jon arryn, but... yeah. wdy think?

What If Brienne took Stannis to The Night’s Watch instead of executing him? What If Ser Dennis Mallister won The Night’s Watch election? What If Lysa Arryn joined Robb? @@Big_Steve11 The Vale is the best military in all of Westeros. 20,000 heavy mounted knights + 18,000 Northmen + 7,000 Riverlords. Tywin had 80,000 troops (30,000 Westermen men + 50,000 Tyrell troops (not including vassals)) so Robb either would’ve won by using similar tactics used by Daemon Blackfyre or might’ve died but was able to weaken Tywin just enough that Daenerys would easily take King’s Landing in just one move or Jon Snow could lead a second army within the next two decades.
What if Khal Drogo didn't like Daenerys refused the marriage offer? What if Mago defeated Drogo? What if Edmure Tuly refused his marriage proposal as well? What if Yorin beats the Gold Cloaks and make it North? What if Yara and the Sand Snakes beat Euron.

WHAT IF Sansa does move fast enough to push Joffrey to his death, but the Hound moves fast enough to grab her before momentum can carry her over the edge?
momentum wouldn't carry her off anyway, that is craziness when she pushes against Joff there is also force backwards on her from the act of pushing. He should have said she tackles him if he wanted her to fall.
If Sansa tackles Joffrey, there wouldn't be any backwards force. I'm saying when Sansa "pushes" Joffrey, it'll basically be a half-tackle because Sansa never physically confronts anyone. Her anger and her lack of coordination will make her die. For the sake of enjoying the scenario, surely you can sacrifice this point of contention and just go with it, eh?
@@TheBattProductions could be let go but i do enjoy thinking of how sansa surviving pushing him in just by luck could be fun too. either by luck or the hound saving her, she survives and becomes the next kingslayer princess or something. the hound and trant should/could have killed her for killing joff, but maybe the hound protects her from trant and brings her safely to trial/ tyrion/ the starks, etc. the kingshover wolf/bird & her hound becomes a song. arya is....... ? in a few places, for a while. lol. either lives/returns mostly safely or does somehow become an assassin for a bit after all lol. one or the other.
Oberyn is normally a sword-fighter, so I think he would use a sword to fight Jaime. He used the spear when he fought the Mountain to match the reach of the big guy's giant super-sword.
Oberyn wouldn't fight Jamie sword vs sword. That would be playing in to Jamie's greatest strength. Oberyn is a guy who plans ahead to counter an opponent's greatest strength, and is well trained in many weapons. Maybe he doesn't use a spear, but he would use something other than a sword.
I feel like some how Robb would learn the truth about Jon and force him to become King saying that he's the heir to the iron throne and he needs someone he can trust on the throne as there needs to be a stark in winter fell always. I could see him learning it from the maesters and at the latest by Bran.
He would atleast undo Jons vow as a brother of the nights watch. But i doubt Robb would take the crown, he'd keep the crown in the north and give the rest to Stannis. And i think Stannis would accept losing the north, simply because it would have been Robb who gave him the crown of the remaining 6. Or who knows, he might even give the throne to Danny.
If Sansa killed Joffery and died in the act Cercei would definitely want it kept quiet that Sansa did it and died too because the Starks have Jaime. If they have no Stark hostages to hold for Jaime's safety his life is forfeit. If it gets out that Sansa did it, but they didn't publicly punish her people will wonder. If it gets out that Sansa did it, but also died in the attempt they'll wonder why Arya isn't being publicly punished. They'll then figure out Arya is either already dead or escaped. No more Stark hostages, no reason to keep Jaime alive.
I love this topic. I was an early Sansa fan bc of this scene. From the first time I saw it, I could tell where the character was going. There was a long time where Sansa would get a lot of hate, I was like y'all just don't get Sansa yet.
I believe Robb said to Talisa that he has no interest in ruling Westeros and was only wanting to rule the independent north. It’s possible he could rule temporarily until Tywin is dealt with but I don’t see him being King of the seven kingdoms after that. Ultimately I think it’d be an hour of the wolf kind of scenario like when Cregan Stark resigned as hand in the books. Great video though. I always enjoy listening to these what if scenario videos 😁
He didn't have a lot of interest in ruling Westeros, but this is one of those things where he would've taken the Throne had he won. Robert didn't want to rule either, but he's the guy who led the charge so he was King ::shrug::
@@TheBattProductions he would rule in kings landing until stannis or dany came to take the throne instead, while he returned north to winterfell and to save his brothers and deal with theon & the boltons, and maybe help with the others. the north is nearly the entire size of the southern 6 put together. and they have moat caitlan to breach.
@@ccorvid Problem is Westeros after The Mad King don't really want about another Targaryen in power. Dany would still try and get the Iron Throne. In truth The Targaryens were the invaders and they are viewed as such. Robb could give way to Stannis but I don't see it. Robb if he is a good king the people would support him.
@@TheBattProductions I know it parallels a bit with this scenario in the sense Carstarks would have stayed in the fold but how Joffrey, Cersei, Tywin, and Tyrion would have reacted would be fun to think on.
I disagree with the idea of Dany taking King's Landing. She does have dragons, yes, but it's very different than Aegon centuries beforehand. Aegon and his sister wives had dragons that were much much older than Dany's, And although the idea of dragons is naturally terrifying to people, centuries have passed since the conquest, so things like scorpions would be much more prevalent, like we saw in the show. We know dragons can be killed even if they're much older than Dany's by just normal arrows, And her three dragons are only a few years old, I don't think there's any way those three dragons can take an entire city. I also don't think the Tyrell army switches to the Targaryen side, because they have no benefits to it. I imagine with Rickon or Bran being around, Robb is able to marry Margaery Tyrell to Rickon as the Lord of Winterfell, since Dany would already have married at this point, and remember, the last time anyone saw the Targaryen in Westeros, it was the Mad King, as well as decades of bad kings before him. With Robb as a KNOWN good King, I can't imagine anyone switching to Dany's side.
i believe this is all true. the only reason i can see them wanting her as an ally is because jon has been able to convince jon during his time on the throne, even with the tyrells, that the others are a real and legitimate threat, and that dragons will be needed in the fight. and maybe dany does have dragonstone by this point, or she still takes her time in mereen, while they wait for her to make her way (with the greyjoys & marlyn the mage & tyrion in the books) remains to be seen.
What if Domeric Bolton managed not be killed by Ramsay? What if Sansa was already betrothed to a northern family? Or literally anyone else? What if Lyanna lived? What if Cersei actually gave birth to Robert’s children or the baby they lost survived? What if the Tyrells make a marriage alliance with the Starks? What if Ned was fostered elsewhere in Westeros?
I'm not sure why Sansa's momentum would have carried her over the edge with Joffrey? Unless she literally leapt at him, her momentum would have dissipated in the act of planting her feet to push. It's a shame the video chose this route because it'd have been interesting to see how The Hound reacted. He already felt sorry for Sansa and he'd have to make a snap decision to either arrest her or protect her from Meryn Trant.
Exactly right that her momentum would’ve carried her over the edge. In overt to get enough speed to outrun the Hound intervening, she’d have to go fast
I'd be with you if she'd full-on thrown herself at Joffrey at full speed. In a mad, unthinking rush to avenge her father, perhaps? I'm just not sure that'd have been necessary. The Hound took his time in noticing and stopping her in the original timeline, and there was little distance between Sansa and Joffrey on the walkway. I think if she'd just moved purposefully rather than the slow plod she managed in the show, she'd have reached Joffrey just fine. Then she could have pushed him and survived for long enough for the Hound to have to make that split second choice. I'd be interested to hear your take on that - if she had survived after successfully pushing Joffrey to his death, how do you think The Hound would have acted?
5:05 if anything, they’ll think Arya is dead or yeah, just not there anymore because Cersei would’ve made a big spectacle of having her. Edit: Yup, just like that.
What if Missandei before she gets executed, because Cersei is standing so close to her wraps her chained arms around Cersei and forces them both to fall off the wall killing them both? Honestly this was my only thought when I was watching that episode because it’s so stupid how close Cersei gets to her and how close they are to the edge and honestly the mountain and everyone else is too far to then stop her before it happens
25:31 the only reason Jorah wasn't killed on the spot or exiled when he returns to Dany in the show is that he brought her Tyrion, who is dead at this point in this story, as a gift. I think his story would be very different
I always thought that the North and Dorne would find some kind of common ground. Both have different cultures from the rest of Westeros. Both wronged by royalty. And if I remember correctly Ashara and Ned had something going on before shit hit the fan.
I don’t believe Cersei will go off quietly or settle down. She’s tasted power & she wants it back! She’ll find a house (maybe the Bolton’s) & manipulate them into rising up against the Starks, & so the war will continue...
This is the greatest “what if” episode ever. This is the only “what if” that delves from to start to finish and even goes into what the finale would be and the aftermath
I think Sansa would have initially survived pushing Joffrey. And I think there’s a chance the Sandor would have intervened and escaped with Sansa before Cersei intercepted them.
What If Caitlyn Stark had suggested a trial by combat to Renly and Stannis Baratheon? To decide who would become king instead of deciding to have a battle.
This would be achieved by pointing out the Prince the was promised wouldn’t loose (instantly getting Melisandreon board and hence Stannis), and playing into Renly’s ego by saying if he wins is the seven’s chosen king.
It'd be a cool idea, but Renly would never do it if he's the one who had to fight. If he could choose a champion however, then he possibly would since Brienne and Loras were around. For the record, I think either Brienne or Loras would win against Stannis - so that'd be awesome!!
@@TheBattProductions that depends on if we're talking book Stannis or show Stannis. While either Brienne can handle either Stannis it's worth noting that Loras was best at horseback combat rather than fighting on foot, he could probably still take book Stannis who led from the back but I'm not so sure he could face Stannis the mannis who was better trained, more experienced and generally smarter than Loras
Lol no, this is just a fanfic where you ignored the Vale being in littlefinger's hands all the time, the Tyrell ambition of getting Renly in the throne, Stannis claim, that Casterly rock would need a long siege to fall, the comming of winter and the fact that the Westerlings were traitors from the start. This just plays into thinking the starks could do the impossible, Varys and Littlefinger not playing their games, and that the north being ravished by the krakens won't be an issue.
There's one part of this scenario you didn't cover...assuming Jon's lineage gets out still, how would that effect your story? Would Dany kill Jon because he's the rightful heir? If this was found out prior to the battle for Kings Landing between Dany and Robb, would Robb have stepped aside for Jon? What if Jon, in this scenario, still found a way to ride Rhaegal...would that have changed Dany's victory? I'm curious how it would have played out in your version of this "Sansa Kills Joffrey" story?
I did cover it quickly but edited it out since I sounded like a crazy person... Basically, what I said was "I don't know if his heritage gets out. Even if it does, I'm not sure it matters. Jon doesn't know enough big players for word to get out and them want to support him over her. He's just a guy at the Wall who gave up his rights and she's a dragon lady who owns the Throne!"
@@TheBattProductions well another argument is if it did get out by bran when he reunites with robb AND dany was given the info it would all be pointless as jus like ameon jon being on the wall means he has no claim to be targaryen or stark let alone the irone throne. if she knew the info prior to hearing him talk about the dead though she could feel like its worth hearing out or might let them do the trip north to bring proof for her.
@@TheBattProductions it depends on if robb/ dany manages to undo his nights watch oaths, and assuming that he wants his oaths undone with them still alive. jon has zombies to fight, so it depends on how they can help him, then maybe he can think about the throne and his queen or the wall when bran is ruling in the north in robb's place winter king in the north, and instead becomes the yggdrasil weirwood greenseer king in the north that dreams of spring, while jon/dany in the south or east being rulers of summer or something lol
This is one of those scenarios where I don't think he would. I think once you get the Throne, you can't just give it up. RObb didn't really want it, but I don't see him willingly tossing it away.
I have some disagreements with this what if scenario. Robb may not even agree to a trial by combat, as they are a practice of the Faith of the Seven and Robb worships the Old Gods. Trials by Combat are based on the judgement of the gods, and the north believes the old gods have no power in the south, so I don't think Robb would allow Tywin one. Also regarding Stannis I think you got it way wrong. Robb doesn't care about being king. He doesn't want the Iron Throne. He would be content with being the Lord of Winterfell. And with all the Lannisters gone or in exile, Stannis would be the rightful king to the public. Robb's bannermen would not want him as king on the Iron Throne. They don't care for southron politics. Robb follows law, which is why he refuses to support Renly. He would be fine with bending the knee to Stannis knowing his family was avenged, and Ned's wish was fulfilled. And Stannis would "pardon" Robb, as he would be ultimately at the mercy of the northmen.
Sansa had the best story arc of anyone in the series. She went from scared helpless doe to a strong confident capable woman. The Queen In The North! Also, Rob is not likely to fight for the Iron Throne. He'd be more like "Iron Throne? Have at it."
I think the Red Witch convinces Jon that he has to meet with Danny. After Stannis dies, she goes off to Danny to serve her and speak to her able being the lord of the light, and I think she knows about The Walkers. Jon knowing Danny has dragons, he still reaches out to her and tries to convince her to join his brother in the war. Naturally she would resist, because Jon would be an enemy but Baristan Selmy would convince her to do a truce temporarily, similarly to what they tried to do with Cersei. Ser Jorah would also cosign because Jon will be the one to tell him about his father’s death, and return his family sword to him. Seeing that his father gave Jon his sword, he will know that they could trust Jon Snow.
Suggestion for a what if video: What if Stannis Baratheon didn't leave King's Landing after Jon Arryn died? What do you think he would have done with Ned Stark to try and uphold the true line of succession for the Baratheon line?
@@TheBattProductions so you are, just looked at your channel. I hadn't seen you pop up in my feed for a while for some reason. I'll try turning it off and on again.
If Sansa died in King's Landing, Jaime would have been executed on the spot. The only reason Jaime isn't executed after Ned died is because the Lannisters have Sansa.
Tywin is too concerned with his legacy to pick his son for a trial by combat. Especially because a win is not a sure thing Jamie would have been a prisoner for months unable to train and exercise this would hurt his abilities. Tywin would find someone else to pick.
Obviously I disagree (since I made the video), mainly because I think he knows: 1) Jaime probably is his best chance as a warrior 2) Jaime is doomed himself most likely. Jaime winning would likely set them both free.
@@TheBattProductions 1) Jamie fighting as champion for someone else doesn’t count as his own trial by combat so it wouldn’t immediately set him free. 2) Jamie would stand accused of pushing Bran out the window there is no way Robb puts both of that crime and Tywin’s freedom up for grabs at the same time even if a single trial could be considered to free both of them. Besides the Mountain’s crimes, at this point Tywin hasn’t actually committed any crimes himself yet and he didn’t know about the incest thing so from his perspective he was fighting for a just cause. Robb might recognize this, I could see Robb stripping Tywin of his land and titles and giving them to some loyal lord. And then forcing Tywin to sit in a room at the Red Keep as a political prisoner forced to live out the rest of his days knowing that the legacy that he spent his whole life cultivating, has shattered around him. Honestly, that would probably be a far worse punishment for him than the quick death of a sword. (Also, he could be handed over to Danny as a bargaining chip later.) There were a few more points I could touch on over all. 1) where does Jon go after he is killed and resurrected by Melisandre? He would have still gone to rescue the Wildlings and thus been killed by the men of the Watch. This would still lead to him feeling disconnected from the watch and having died and returned his watch would have ended. However, he has no great mission to fulfill like he did with reclaiming the North like in the show. 2) How does Stannis die? In the show he dies during a failed attack on the Boltons but here there are no Bolton’s to attack, so...?
Maybe the video is good, but i just got to 1:35 and will stop wathching as I can't help but believe that you assumed sansa would also fall just to simplify the scenario, because she also falling makes no sense
Glad tae see you back. You should do audio stories. You are a good narrator. Only thing I think might be different is Daenerys attacking Kings Landing. She wouldn't just attack, she would offer surrender first. Rob really isn't an idiot. He made mistakes but tactically he knows his stuff. If Daenerys were to make a good offer (Mercy, keep Rob as her Hand, Help rebuilding the North, etc) then I think Rob would be the second Stark king to Kneel. He is the sort to sacrifice his own pride for the lives of others after all. Since Daenerys knows the truth of her father, she could make it clear that as Queen, she will heal the wounds.
@@dr.manhattan3585 Aye, he never even wanted tae be King in the North, that was pushed on him. I think if Daenerys approached him in a not psychopathic manner, he would be relieved to hand over power.
i enjoy robb being the second king that knelt, however, i also enjoy him as the young winter king in the north, unknelt, unbent, unbroken, or whatever, as he did convince dany to let them be an independent kingdom again. maybe he can marry jeyne to the north, and margaery can marry a martell lol. idk.
That's a great way to do it, but truthfully I don't know if they could! Maybe I'll think of doing a "Part 2" to this scenario where the White Walkers get through that way
Great video. Nicely done. Playing some scenarios of the war though, and this is obvious but wasn't noted: if the Lannisters are getting kicked hard, the Ironborn can take plentiful Lannister land. This could include the Lann capital, especially if the Starks moved away to take KL. They aren't in the best position, but could grow. Starks have no great fleet to deal with them. Ironborn may be able to revive the old kingdom, but not take the Riverlands, instead taking the Lann lands.
See, I don't think they take Castley rock. A castles purpose is to allow a smaller number of people to hold out against a larger number of people for as long as possible winning the conflict by attrition. The show version is very underwhelming but the true Castley rock is half a kilometre high of hollow sea mountain reinforced with innumerable halls and bastion's. The stark army does not have the capacity or technology to take it by storm, I think you would need either dragons or cannon. The only option would be to lay seige and try and starve them out, but the Rock has a port built into the caves and Lannisters have naval superiority allowing for resupply, especially if you add the Red Wyne fleet. I think the decisive battle of Rob Vs Tywin when would probably play out similar to Caesar against Vercingetorix at Alessia. With a double siege of the combined Lannister-Reach army trapping Rob's forces against the coast in a hammer and anvil between the rock and Tywin. Rob might realise his position earlier break off the siege and choose to meet Tywin in open battle, but even then, In a battle of that scale, I honestly don't know who would win, but both sides might understand that destruction on this level would be mutually destructive and come to terms before blood is shed.
Happy as ever to bring it to you :-) Hahaha...I'm glad you're lying to me about how good my impressions were...it warms my heart to know someone cares enough to try and fool me about it just to comfort me! Haha...
Very happy that you called Cersei as she is. The furthest thing from Brilliant indeed. Even if she did have ¼ of Tywin's cunning, her lust for power blinds here even more than her hatred and paranoia.
I dont't think Robb would sit on the Iron Throne, the question is why should he? He just wanted independence for the North and would probably support Stannis as king. I know, Stannis said his "all rebels will be crushed" thing, but after defeating the Lannisters and some negotiations i could see Stannis accepting the independance of the North as reward for Neds loyalty and Robbs dealing with the Lannisters. Would that change much to your story? Probably not, except there is a North probably willing to help with the Dead and the Starks are alive and well until Daenerys destroys Stannis and then this raises the question of the independent North
I've been binge-watching your GOT what ifs for a couple of days now and I absolutely love them. It got me thinking about what if Myrcella Baratheon lived? Would she be crowned Queen after her brother jumped? Also what if Rickon Stark lived? Would Jon willingly give him the north instead?
I think there may be another way things might play out. Robb doesn't take the Iron Throne for himself, and instead stays as just the King in the North, appointing someone else to become king of the other 6 kingdoms. That way Robb and his family will be in Winterfell when Daenerys attacks, and maybe there will be a war between Daenerys and the North. Not sure what the Tyrells would do in this case. What if it was a Tyrell in power on the Iron Throne when Daenerys arrives? Maybe they would just surrender the throne peacefully.
@@TheBattProductions could you make a video if Robert won the battle at the trident but then died of wounds. Who would have taken the crown then? Ned, Stannis, or Tywin?
BOOK WHAT IF: Ned sends Loras Tyrell to kill the Mountain. I have been reading AGoT for the first time and that bit where Ned sent Beric after Loras volunteered has had me thinking ever since. PS, thanks for this video! I love your what-ifs and this is an extra long and juicy one!
That's a Good One! Loras would be the Prophet of R'hllor and Renly might not usurp Stannis. Cause Loras was the reason why Renly betrayed Stannis. If Renly Joins Stannis, all will go fine. The Baratheon Forces of Stannis would be absolutely 100% and the Tyrells might still be persuaded by Renly. The Only Problem with the Baratheons and Tyrells would be Stannis' new found faith which he could forget or still insist. If Stannis ignores Melisandre for his Brother and for the Baratheons and for the Tyrells, Mellisandre might join the Brotherhood without Banners and forsee there that Azor Ahai is on the Wall. Robb might also join Stannis' Force if Renly persuaded Stannis enough that Robb can keep the North and the Riverlands.
Sorry to disagree but Dont think a lot of this would be accurate. Mainly Littlefinger’s role. Remember it was LF who started the Starks and Lannister conflict. He wanted that chaos. So it’s highly unlikely that he will openly support the Starks or have the Vale do so as he wants the chaos between stark and Lannister. Also remember it was LF who brokered an alliance with Tyrell and Lannister. But Renly is still alive at this point and highgarden behind him. If LF supported the Starks then he couldn’t broker the alliance with Tyrell and Lannister. And when LF did broker this alliance, he lied that the Lannister’s still had Arya to Cat. Remember in the books LF had a fake Arya marry Ramsey. To keep the chaos it’s likely LF would something similar would happen here. The Lannister’s already believed it’s possible Arya has already died and played it like they still have her. No one knew where the real Arya was in the original version and that’s not likely to change just because Sansa/Joffrey is gone. Also you mention Robb stark on the iron throne but Robb has no interest in the iron throne. He only wants the North and Riverlands. He said as much. While it’s fun to go down this rabbit hole. Considering when Sana’a would have pushed Joffrey, It’s likely nothing major changes until the purple wedding would have taken place. Tommen just takes Joffrey’s place. LF produces a fake Arya, ala the books. And everything else for Starks, Lannister, Tyrell, Stannis and Rely remain the same Joffrey’s main role in the conflict was killing Ned And dying at the purple wedding, he had no real impact on anything in between. This was after Ned’s death so the first big change wouldn’t come until purple wedding. Sansa’s main role in the conflict in the role was marrying Tyrion. This likely wouldn’t happen or need to happen as without Sansa, the Tyrells won’t try to marry her to Loras so Tywin won’t need to rush a wedding to Tyrion. So if LF does get a fake Arya as a stand in, like he does in the books, then Sansa dying here won’t have a real impact until the purple wedding would have taken place. Since there likely won’t be a murder or Tyrion imprisoned. So the impact of this one scene wouldn’t matter until 3 seasons later
viper vs jaime 1) Viper cuts of jaime's both forearms off 2) Viper gets killed because of being ignorant like he was against the mountain in the alternate reality 3) Jaime gets his both legs crippled / paralysed for life due to the Dorish poison and also both his arms are cot off too
Here are another two what if's for you: 1. What if Rhaella had survived the birth of Danaerys?; 2. What if the Mad King had listened to Varys instead of Pycelle and the Lannisters hadn't sacked King's Landing with the Mad King, Elia Martell and her children surviving and possibly fleeing to Dragonstone like Viserys and Rhaella before? Plus, why would Robb have to die? I mean he could just bend the knee to Danaerys and go back to Winterfell as he was never really interested in taking the Iron Throne for himself in the first place and live happily ever after with his family.
Yes, I can see Dorne wanting to get involved because they’ll be like: Wait a minute, we had no justice for Elia and her children being murdered but the Starks got to takedown the Lannisters!? Nope. Sorry, but we want in.”
Oh, you know Oberyn wants some of his!
One thing I believe is that the Hound would never have a redemption arc without Sansa.
@@deiseabu He could of saw some of himself inside her, how he was just as abused and neglected as Sansa.
Randy Leigh completely agree. I saw a interview with Rory McCann who plays the Hound and he was asked about their relationship, and he basically gave your answer. One bullied kid looking after the other, doesn’t have to be all the love/romance stuff
I don't know about that. He was conflicted from the start of the show.
I could see that but I also see a better solution for all sides:
Robb and Dany come to terms that:
1 - they join forces to fight against the white walkers
2 - if they win Robb will voluntarily give up the iron throne and dominion over 6 kingdoms with the caveat that the north will remain an independent kingdom.
@@craigalexander288 that works also. I wish we could of saw all of this play out tbh.. like a what if
If Rob and Dany got along, perhaps Rob proposes he and Deaneries take the throne together.
@@persephone342 oooo I like that
@@PennTwinsVlogs Thanks!
I’m not sure Robb Stark would want to be king of the 7 kingdoms... he only cares about being in the North
Then stannis will want to be the king and others will have conflict about it
Facts
I think Robb will just straight offer kings landing to stannis after he wins or broker an alliance with him for North's freedom
I don’t think Varys would help Dany for 2 main reasons:
1) Dany originally wanted Varys executed because of his hand in sending assassins to her for years.
True. No Young Griff ruins the character
I think this is a great analysis!
@@TheBattProductions this is all so true, and great job w the robb v jaime fight, & tywin's fate. i just wish tyrion wouldnt have to die and robb/ catelyn/ etc could see his side. basically i think they'd be more willing to listen than his own family was, and he could have got them to listen to reason and make himself useful to pretty much anyone in charge, be it, the starks or dany (/young griff, varys, etc, haha).
i also wish jaime could have lasted longer to see his redemption and we could maybe even see a prisoner cercei where she has no power but has tyrion (/jaime 😥) for an ear, having lost joffrey and sansa but not tommen or myrcella. but jaime. in her defense. and for their father, after everything 💔
there are a million ways it could go, like if robb chose to fight jaime and that ended up being robbs downfall in a legendary wolf v lion stand off instead of a red wedding, but oberyn fought tywin & won instead? idk. im not sure the viper would last long with the lion after it bites its head. with the lion wounded and dying, the imp would have to rule for a time as hand/ king regent & Warden of the West of Lannisport, with Kevan's help, until the dragon arrives and eventually partner with tyrion & the night's watch against the others, etc etc..
Oberyn on Small Council is ideal. I'd love some more of that.

What if Robert wasn’t injured during his rebellion and confronted Jamie and the Mad King instead of Ned.

Spears are the weapon of choice in Dorne
Oberyn wouldn't fight Jamie sword vs sword. That would be playing in to Jamie's greatest strength. Oberyn is a guy who plans ahead to counter an opponent's greatest strength, and is well trained in many weapons. Maybe he doesn't use a spear, but he would use something other than a sword.

I feel like some how Robb would learn the truth about Jon and force him to become King saying that he's the heir to the iron throne and he needs someone he can trust on the throne as there needs to be a stark in winter fell always. I could see him learning it from the maesters and at the latest by Bran.
I love that
He would atleast undo Jons vow as a brother of the nights watch.
But i doubt Robb would take the crown, he'd keep the crown in the north and give the rest to Stannis. And i think Stannis would accept losing the north, simply because it would have been Robb who gave him the crown of the remaining 6.
Or who knows, he might even give the throne to Danny.
Make some sense, robb said he n ver wanted the iron throne and won’t take it.

I always enjoy listening to these what if scenario videos 😁
yeah Robb didn't want to be king of westeros, and even sent out his mother to try to ally with Renly.

I'm writing these down...I believe I did the Lyanna video already, but the rest I haven't!
Another thing to consider: Bran coming back could have had him telling everyone about Jon's heritage. That would change a lot.
I was thinking about this the whole time
I'm not sure why Sansa's momentum would have carried her over the edge with Joffrey?
YOu know me so well
If Joffrey dies, he can't send Redcloaks after Gendry, letting Yoren bring Arya to the Starks.

What if Janos Slynt had friends at the capital
YES - VERY powerful friends indeed!

Robb would give up the iron throne to stannis
Good joke
That's a brilliant WHAT IF!
@@TheBattProductions Hey, thanks.
Good to see you back
Hey I'm always here :-)
@@TheBattProductions so you are, just looked at your channel. I hadn't seen you pop up in my feed for a while for some reason. I'll try turning it off and on again.
If Sansa died in King's Landing, Jaime would have been executed on the spot. The only reason Jaime isn't executed after Ned died is because the Lannisters have Sansa.
That fight scene bro! Expertly done!!!! I was so hooked.... Man this is your best what if video ever.
Tywin is too concerned with his legacy to pick his son for a trial by combat. Especially because a win is not a sure thing Jamie would have been a prisoner for months unable to train and exercise this would hurt his abilities. Tywin would find someone else to pick.
Or he would just except death.
Obviously I disagree (since I made the video), mainly because I think he knows: 1) Jaime probably is his best chance as a warrior 2) Jaime is doomed himself most likely.
Jaime winning would likely set them both free.
@@TheBattProductions
1) Jamie fighting as champion for someone else doesn’t count as his own trial by combat so it wouldn’t immediately set him free.
(Also, he could be handed over to Danny as a bargaining chip later.)
There were a few more points I could touch on over all.
Would've loved to see how king Joffrey would stick the landing in King's Landing.
As a British person, I am absolutely living for your misplaced accents! ❤
Maybe the video is good, but i just got to 1:35 and will stop wathching as I can't help but believe that you assumed sansa would also fall just to simplify the scenario, because she also falling makes no sense
I think that was your best What If video!
Yeah, I feel like this makes much more sense especially since Robb didn't seem to want the throne all that much.
@@dr.manhattan3585
Aye, he never even wanted tae be King in the North, that was pushed on him. I think if Daenerys approached him in a not psychopathic manner, he would be relieved to hand over power.
i enjoy robb being the second king that knelt, however, i also enjoy him as the young winter king in the north, unknelt, unbent, unbroken, or whatever, as he did convince dany to let them be an independent kingdom again.
maybe he can marry jeyne to the north, and margaery can marry a martell lol. idk.
Damnnnnn your Doing a really good job !!
One thing is that I think they would freeze the water at Eastwatch and just march across the side
That's a great way to do it, but truthfully I don't know if they could!
Maybe I'll think of doing a "Part 2" to this scenario where the White Walkers get through that way
Ooooooh this is a LONG boi video. Bless you, milord
VERY long...Absurdly long. Haha. I didn't mean it to be, but tried to cover as much as I could.
I'm stoked for more what if videos.
I'm glad to bring 'em to you!
Thanks Kev really excited for this one
I'm glad you enjoyed Mitchell! I spent a lot of time on this video!
Danny: i got 3 dragon
Rob: i got a little brother that sees the future
Shoots dragons with 100 balistas
This was a great "what if" video!! I loved it! Thank you so much Kev. I love your content!!!
This is an awesome video. Well worth the wait.
Thanks Aarron! I really appreciate it buddy
You're welcome Kevin! Hope you're having a good weekend man!
Could you do a follow up for some of your earlier what ifs where you update the stories for what has happened since those videos were made?
The inclusion of details for that trial by combat was absolutely awesome. Sounded great.
When Batman gave that device to Joffrey, in Batman Begins, he didn't know he was creating a monster.
Hahahaha....
Also, I'm a Philly fan as well. Nice to see you around.
You really went off in this video, one of your best.
I appreciate that Vanessa - I tried really hard.
What if Oberyn killed the Mountain at the trial of Tyrion? Would everything remain the same, with Tyrion killing his father and going to Danny?
Great video man
Thanks Matt! I appreciate it bud.
Very good takes love the new Game of Thrones material! You could basically do a entire What If series on this.
What if jon stays with the wildlings
Could you do a What if Ned got betrothed to Ashara at the Tourney at Harrenhal?
So excited for more “what if” content.
Also the impressions were 👌 **chefs kiss** 😂👌
Happy as ever to bring it to you :-)
Hahaha...I'm glad you're lying to me about how good my impressions were...it warms my heart to know someone cares enough to try and fool me about it just to comfort me! Haha...
'Dorney Horney' 😂😂😂😂. Kevin, you are the best!
Great video!
i think that Robb may have given the throne to stannis as thats what his father wanted
I know in theory that sounds proper...but I just can't see it. Once you win the Throne, it's basically yours.
It's reasonable, though!
Ladies and gentlemen, the GoT what if videos are back.
Very happy that you called Cersei as she is. The furthest thing from Brilliant indeed. Even if she did have ¼ of Tywin's cunning, her lust for power blinds here even more than her hatred and paranoia.
At least Sansa finally being useful in her life as she kills Joffery
I actually laughed out loud when I read this.
I think Sansa is alright! Hah.
why when Joffrey was fucking things up for the Lannisters? Sweet little Tommen is a much better king thus a much worse problem for Robb and Stannis.
Facts
@@QueenDaenerysTargaryen how is it facts? you cant just say shit with no evidence
@@godemperorofmankind3.091 it is facts because I said it is.
I have only read the books. the books and series must be quite different, but I think this is a good vid lol
This was BEAUTIFUL
Ahhhhhh!!!! He's back with the what-ifs!!! Thanks for the video. Made for an entertaining lunch break :)
BRO! There he is!
Didn't you win my Oathkeeper ages ago?!
"All fifty thousand of us." 😂😂😂
This video is better than all of season 8.
Did he forget about Stannis and Renly?
That cop out at the begining killing Sansa was ass, I wanted to know what Cersei would do to her
Been wondering this for forever
I'm glad to bring you some love!
@@ironforged2329 fun stuff
And everything else for Starks, Lannister, Tyrell, Stannis and Rely remain the same
Joffrey’s main role in the conflict was killing Ned And dying at the purple wedding, he had no real impact on anything in between.
So the impact of this one scene wouldn’t matter until 3 seasons later
viper vs jaime
1) Viper cuts of jaime's both forearms off
2) Viper gets killed because of being ignorant like he was against the mountain in the alternate reality
3) Jaime gets his both legs crippled / paralysed for life due to the Dorish poison and also both his arms are cot off too
Ooo this as a good one. Nice comeback!
I love the idea of Robb being King of the Seven Kingdoms. makes me want to read a fanfic about it
